Heartbeats.
Strobe lights.
Pounding music.
What more could one ask for?
Living in the idealist world of invented surrealism, I say: Tell me your wish.
The sparkles and glitter fade away. The beat starts up. The intoxication of those voices encapsulate the hundreds of souls jumping as one to the melodious tune. Like sirens, we lift our arms, look out onto the world, and gracefully acknowledge each enchanted worshipper. No one can have us.
The noise is overwhelming. We gather at the top of the crowd and look down upon the expectant faces of the many gatherers. Our movements begin, fluid and smooth, and each step is as enticing as the last. Each word we speak is as charming as the last. Each face we look into is as enraptured as the next. They all want a piece of this life, our life. But they fail to realize that they made us into what we are. Shining stars. No, super stars.
The adoration in their faces as they look up to us is amusing. We are their goddesses, their queens, their genies. We remove them from their disillusioned shame of a life and bring them hope for a new one. Our flirtatious eyes, swaying hips, and long legs invite them in from all over the world. No one has been able to resist.
So why hesitate? This boring, ordinary life offers no peace to the ones in need of a higher path. We can provide every level of passion you have dreamed of. We offer support and love and beauty to the world. So why not join in? Let us be your goodluck charm, your happiness, your fantasy.
Tell me your wish.

A/N: I don't see an angry mob so I'm just going to assume that people have forgotten about me and my stories, which makes me kind of sad...but at least I'm alive...ne? *hopes* Right well. It seems that after tonight...there may..or may not be another post before july 24th because! I'm going to India until august 15th. wooooh! no woo? ok...let's not. But here's some Kame family history for you lot! (PS: Taecyeon is 2 years older than Kame..)
Chapter 3
"Kazuya! Kazuya, Mama's home!"
Kamenashi Kazuya, a young boy of only 5 years old, ran into the living room of his house with his babysitter chasing after him telling him to slow down. Paying no attention to the older woman, Kame ran straight into his mother, excited that she had finally come home. He hadn't seen her in almost a month now and he missed her terribly.
"Mama!"
"Ohayo Kazu-chan. I missed you baby."
"I miss Mama too!"
"Well Mama's home now and she brought a little surprise for her Kazu-chan."
Kame squealed in delight and jumped around his mother, looking for his present.
"Kazuya. I'd like you to meet your new Papa."
Kame blinked. Papa? He recalled at school that the other children would always laugh at him because he didn't have a Papa. He never told his mother about it and now that he had a Papa, she would never have to find out. He was ecstatic.
"Papa?"
"Haihai. And a big brother, too."
Kame looked up at his mother with big, round eyes as if she was tricking him into believing such exciting news. But then he saw, at the front door, a tall man shifting nervously and a young boy looking around the house curiously. Leaving his mother's side he walked over to the two at the front door and pulled on the man's pants. Shocked, the man jumped but smiled down at Kame.
"Papa?"
The man was surprised and didn't know how to respond, but apparently his son did.
"No. He's my Papa."
"Oh." Kame looked down sadly, a pout growing on his lips as he realized his mother lied to him.
"But I can share. I'll be your big brother from today!"
Kame looked up, shy and curious.
"Really? You promise?"
"I promise."
Kame hugged his new big brother and grinned at the man who was staring at the pair with a shocked expression. He saw his mother walk over to them, laughing, and pull all three of them into a big hug.
"We are now...a family."
8 Years Later
Kame had just celebrated his 13th birthday with his big brother, Taecyeon, who had turned 15. They were on their way home from school for the birthday weekend when they found their front door wide open with bags placed on the porch. Upon entering the house they heard shouts coming from their parent's bedroom. Creeping up the stairs, they stood outside the room and proceeded to eavesdrop.
"...just can't do this anymore!"
"What do you mean you can't? What about me? I'm the one who caught you in bed with ... with him!"
"I'm sorry, Taeyang..."
"No...no you're not, Yuka . HE WAS MY BROTHER!"
"..."
"How long?"
"What..?"
"How long had this been going on?"
"It was only that one time.."
"Why?"
"I don't know. I'm just tired..of this. Of everything. I'm sorry."
"No..I know you're not. You're just a coward. Running away because you don't want to face your sons as a whore!"
"I'm leaving.."
"Fine. Don't come back."
"Take care of them.."
Yuka walked out of the bedroom, not bothering to look back at her two sons pressed against the wall trying to hide. She didn't notice the tears flowing down Kame's face or the anger in Taecyeon's eyes. She didn't notice her husband throw the wedding ring from his finger out into the hallway. She was gone.
It wasn't until half an hour later that Taeyang came out of his room and noticed his elder son holding the sobbing form of his younger son in his arms. It was a heartwrenching moment and he couldn't help but hate Yuka for putting their young heart's through this.
"I'm going out for a while. Don't wait up for me."
It was almost 2 in the morning when Taeyang walked into the house, absolutely trashed.
"Taecyeon! T-Taecyeeoonnnnn-aahh!"
"Dad...are you drunk??"
"And! What does it matter to you? Where's your brother?"
"He's asleep."
"WELL BRING HIM DOWN!"
Taecyeon went back upstairs to his brother's room and shook him from his sleep.
"Kazu...I want you to be brave right now, ok? Promise me, whatever happens you won't cry. I'll be waiting for you right here. Ok?"
"What's going on Tae?"
"Just go downstairs.."
Kame went downstairs and saw his father waiting for him in the kitchen, beer in hand.
"You look...somuch...l-like her. That bisshhh."
"..."
"Yupp...she went aheadand fucked him didn't she? Dumb whore."
Kame watched his father stagger closer and closer to him, until he felt a sharp pain in his jaw. His father had punched him!
"HOW COULDJUU DO THAT YUUKKAA? I LUHHVED YOUU!"
Taeyang hit Kame's side, sending him down to the floor. Kame covered his face in fear, tears rolling down his eyes as he shouted in pain.
"SHUTUPP YOU BISSHH! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A WHORE! GET UP!"
Kame lifted himself off the ground and ran out of the kitchen, leaving his father to his loud rants. Running up the stairs he ran straight into Taecyeon's room where he cried himself to sleep in his brother's arms.
It was the first time he had been hit in his life, always having lived as the baby of the family. He felt defeated and suddenly found a new found hatred for his mother for leaving him here like this. He thanked the world above for at least leaving him Taecyeon.
Present Day
It wasn't that Taecyeon always acted like this. It was only recently, maybe a few months ago before his 19th birthday that it started. It was subtle at first, but the second his hand went up Kame's leg at the dinner table did Kame realize that there was no longer room for him in this house. He really loved Tae, but as a brother because he had helped raise him and taken care of him. But now that he had joined his father's side, Kame couldn't help but wonder what went wrong. They hadn't heard from Yuka in 4 years and Kame had gotten over the fact that she ran out on them. There was nothing he could do about it except move on with his life and hope to forget these four years quickly.

*RINGRING*
"Moshimoshi?"
"Umm...Kamenashi?"
"Hai. Who is this?"
"Ummm..this is Akanishi...Akanishi Jin from last night."
"Oh..hi.."
"Hi."
"...Is there something you wanted?"
"Umm haha yeah. Do you want to maybe..get some lunch later today or something?"
"I don't think that's such a good idea."
"I just want to return your clothes to you. It won't take long. I promise."
"Umm..alright..when?"
"How about right now?"
"Now?"
"Yeah..you remember where I live right?"
"Yes but --"
"Don't worry. We'll leave from there. I'll see you soon."
"Yeah...sure. See you soon.."
Kame stared at his phone blankly, but deep inside his brain, heart, and every other body part was yelling:
What the fuck did I just do!?!?!

Chapter 2
Kame heard a faint rustling behind him as he lifted himself from a peaceful slumber. His eyes opened lazily and his mind was still blank as he looked outside the large window he faced. The sun was shining, the clouds were white and puffy, but spare, and the sky was a bright blue. It was a cheery day and Kame had never felt so at rest. He couldn't remember a time he had slept so long without being haunted by nightmares or being woken to the sound of his father's disgruntled curses through his door. He paused for a second and took in the good feeling of the comfortable bed, the soft pillow under his neck, the black silk sheets on his...WAIT. BLACK SILK SHEETS?? Kame's eyes shot open, his mind reeling as he tried to figure out where he was and why he was there. Turning quickly to the other side, he saw a man's back facing him, rising slowly and evenly due to the man's deep slumber. Clutching the noticeably soft sheets in his hands he realized that the man next to him was naked, and after double checking, so was he. Quick tidbits of last night's activities made Kame blush but also reprimand himself for being so careless as to leave a club with a total stranger and not inform anyone. Slowly he edged his way off the bed, but realizing that the man would not wake even in the loudest circumstances, he rushed around the room collecting as many of his belongings as he could find. For some reason, his shirt had decided to vanish into thin air...along with his boxers. Kame groaned but silenced himself quickly with a glance to the snoring man sprawled out on the bed. What was his name anyway? Kame raked his brain looking for an answer but could only come up with the word "red". Shrugging, he spotted a shirt laying on the bedpost just above "red"'s head and cursed his fates. Having grabbed his cell phone off the floor and having already put on his jeans, quite uncomfortably without any boxers, he only needed a shirt before he could leave this place forever. Slowly moving toward the snoring man he reached up and grabbed the shirt with a swift motion.
Kame sighed and proceeded to put on the shirt but not before realizing that this was three times too large for him, and therefore concluding it was "red's". Pulling it on and rolling up the sleeves to a decent height, he buttoned a few buttons, gave up after some struggling and made his way to the door.
"Are you leaving already?"
Kame froze at the door and swore under his breath.
"Is that my shirt?"
"Oh...haha. This? Yeah..hehe--"
"It's okay. You can keep it."
"I just can't find my shirt...I'll return it to you after a I clean it."
"It's alright. It's yours."
Kame stood awkwardly at the door, blushing and trying desperately to create a gaping black hole under him so he could dissapear. He suddenly remembered the man's name as a quick flash of the club scene hit him; Akanishi Jin. What the hell had he been thinking? This man was 24 years old, not to mention a stranger, and probably a playboy!
"Soo...if you're done spacing out...would you like to join me for breakfast?"
Kame jumped in his spot and blushed a deeper red before bowing and muttering an apology.
"I actually had to be home...about eight hours ago..."
"Oh.. well that's a dissapointment. I had a good time last night."
Kame felt his knees weaken below him and felt the urge to jump straight out of the window in the room.
"Can you at least leave me your number, Kazu-chan?"
"W-what?"
"Your number. So that when I find your clothes I can return them to you."
"Oh..no! It's okay! I'll just get new--"
"I'm sure it's not comfortable walking around without boxers on, right?"
"..."
"Your number?"
Kame scrambled around looking for a pen and paper and after finally scribbling out his number he threw it at Jin without bothering to look at him and ran out the door. He thought he heard a small chuckle behind him as he left.
----------------------------------------
Kame raced back home, his hair a mess, the overlarge shirt flying around him, his crotch rubbing against the rough fabric of the jeans. It was a very uncomfortable fifteen minutes and things just seemed to get worse.
He unlocked the door to his house quietly. It was still eleven in the morning, neither his father or brother would be up yet. Unfortunately, his brother had other plans. He groaned as he heard loud footsteps coming to meet him at the door and tried his best to push past his brother as he entered.
"HEY DAD! LOOK WHO'S HOME!"
"Shutup! Shutup Tae! I swear!"
It was too late. He heard his fathers slow, heavy footsteps make their way down the front hall. It happened pretty quickly but before he knew it he was on the floor in the living sitting across his father with a slight pain in his head.
"Taecyeon. Upstairs. Now."
Kame looked up at his brother and saw the smirk on his face. He was fucked. Taecyeon left the room and let Kame's father deal with him alone.
They sat in silence for a few minutes.
"So...you decided to come home then?"
Kame didn't reply.
"ANSWER ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU, FILTH!"
Kame flinched.
"Where were you?"
"I was...I was o-out at a party...with my f-friend."
"Who? That little princess bitch you hang around with who claims to be a guy?"
"His name is Ueda."
"ARE YOU TALKING BACK TO ME?"
"No, sir."
"I thought as much. So you were partying all night?"
"No... I-I ended up sleeping over at U-Ueda's house."
"DON'T LIE TO ME YOU! YOU WALK IN HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WITH BAGS UNDER YOUR EYES, HAIR MESSED UP, A DIFFERENT SHIRT, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU WERE AT THAT BITCH'S HOUSE??"
Kame stayed silent, staring down at his lap.
"You stayed out all night last night with someone else. Did you get paid at least?"
"What?"
"Well obviously since you're accepting a position of the family whore, I want to know if you got paid for your services."
"I'm not a whore!"
"And it wasn't even with a woman, was it? A man of all things. Tell me, how does it feel to follow after your mother in the family business? Dirty little sluts, the lot of you. And what else! You're a gay! I don't know what else could get fucked up about you, kid."
Kame had tears in his eyes as he listened to his father rant on about his mother. They had never actually spoken about her except for these few degrading words once in a while. He hated it, but felt he could do nothing more unless he wanted to get hurt.
"Get out of my sight, you filth. You should be happy I'm even letting you stay here instead of sending you straight back to your pimp. I don't even know what he saw in you. You're nothing."
Kame staggered to his feet and climbed the steps up to his room where he found his brother sitting on the bed, waiting.
"Get out, Tae."
"Make me, baby."
"I'm not in the mood."
"Aww...did daddy get my baby angry?"
"I'm not your baby, you freak!"
"Tch. Is that any way to talk to your older brother?"
"You're not my brother!"
"Hmm..so then you wouldn't mind if I did this?"
Taecyeon pushed Kame up against the wall and breathed in his ear.
"Let's see those services of yours, Kazu baby. You're showing everyone except me. I've been getting a little jealous."
"Get the FUCK off me!"
Kame pushed Taecyeon off him and sent him to the ground before grabbing a shirt from his closet and running out of the house. Taecyeon's voice followed him.
"Ooh! I like it rough too, baby! I'll be here when you get back."
----------------------------------------
Kame panted as he raced to Ueda's mansion. He was always a welcome guest there but he was wary of Ueda's reaction when he saw him. Following the maid's instructions he made his way up to Ueda's room and was about to go in when the door swung open. Out came a man pulling a shirt over his head and trying to slip on his shoes at the same time. Not noticing Kame at all, he made his way out of the mansion and pulled away in his shiny yellow Porsche.
Kame peered into the room, cautiously, wondering what had become of his best friend. He found Ueda laying in bed under wrinkled sheets with a satisfied grin on his face. He noticed Kame at the door and gave him a lazy peace sign.
"Yo."
"Yo?"
"What brings you here?"
"I wanted to tell you I'm okay."
"Why? Did something happen?"
"Did you not notice I had been missing since last night?"
"Vaguely.."
Kame stared at his friend. Ueda still seemed to be in a surreal world.
"So who was that man?"
"He's married."
"What.."
"I fucked a married man."
Ueda flashed a large grin at the ceiling of his room.
"Are you okay?"
"Nope. I think I'm the happiest person alive."
"Because you screwed a married man?"
"Exactly. It was brilliant. All night. .. So where were you, exactly, Mr. Dissapearo?"
"About that. I was with some guy and I woke up this morning in his apartment."
"Aah..was he married?"
"What? NO! Would you stop with your adultery fantasies for a second?"
"Right. Sorry. So what happened?"
"I spazzed out."
"What do you mean?"
"I...blushed a lot. Threw a piece of paper at him. And ran out."
"So you did him. Woke up. Freaked out. Wait...why did you throw paper at him?"
"He wanted my number..."
"Well that's very aggressive of you, Kame, if I do say so myself."
"Shutup. I was nervous."
"Has he called you yet?"
"No. He only wanted it so he could return my boxers and shirt."
"He kept your boxers? Kinky."
"NO! I lost them.."
"Wow. Wild night. Must've been fun."
Kame blushed. It had been pretty wild. Ueda noticed the change in color on the boy's face and grinned. Picking up a phone he called up a maid and asked her to bring them some champagne.
"It's 11 in the morning.."
"Yes well, celebrations should never be left for later."
"What are we celebrating?"
"The start of an excellent summer, my friend."

Chapter 1
"IT'S SUMMER!"
Kazuya jumped off the bottom step of the school building and clicked his heels in joy. Realizing that this was a pretty queer move, he slicked his hair back with a very "masculine" air about him and proceeded to mentally cheer over the start of summer. He had been waiting for this day since his freshman year: the day he ended his junior year and became a senior. His final year, his victory, his achievement, his goal. Not many people were as excited as he was, but they didn't feel the same exhiliration the taste of freedom brought him. After all, there was only a year before he could leave his house, travel the world as he had dreamed so often, and be something bigger than his family. Not that he hated them, of course, he was more indifferent and inclined to grow up to be nothing like his father and older brother.
"Kazu, you're like a five year old! How many times have we gone through this same summer scene?"
Kazuya laughed at his friend, Ueda. The boy was cooler and much more laid back, reserving his display of emotions only for the closest of people and on special occasions. They had been best friends since freshman year, though, despite the vast personality differences. They had taken note of the similarities between their goals in life and taste in clothes, music, etc. The only thing that differed was Ueda's family's status in society. While Kazuya came from a small middle class family, Ueda's family descended from several previous generations of Tatsuya's beginning in the late 18th century. Quite the patrons of Louis XVI during his Renaissance reign of France, the Tatsuya family was given a great sum of money and power that has kept them on top of the food chain to this day. The Tatsuya family is also well known for their mixed breed of family members, where generations are mainly consisted of half french, half japanese children; Ueda being one of them.
"Oh come on! It gets better every year as we move closer and closer to ... THE WORLD!"
"Kazu...we're already part of "THE WORLD"..."
"Stop being a kill joy."
"I'm just telling you what you should already know."
"I'm just excited about summer. And the whole "we're seniors" thing. And the upperclassmen scene. And college applications. And traveling. And partying. And candy. And --"
"Wait. What? Candy?"
"What?"
"You just said candy.."
"I was talking about summer.."
"Yeah. But in the middle of your rant you said candy."
"Oh. Well then I'm excited for candy, too! Yay candy!"
"You. Are. Insane. Do you hear me? IN-SANE!"
"You don't need to spread out the words like that. I can understand English just fine."
"I wonder if you understand Japanese any better."
"What?"
"I don't know. See, now you're making me stupid."
"Hey! I was top of this year's class, thank you!"
"Yeah! Thank me you ungrateful thing! Who did most of your Precalculus homework this year?"
"This is true. You're excellent, you know that?"
"I know. Now can we please get out of here? We're spending more time on school property than is necessary."
"Omgoodness! You're right! We have to leave right now! --"
"Why do always insist on sounding like a twelve year old girl?"
"I'm just as active and hyper as one.."
"I've noticed..anyway. What's tonights plan?"
"I thought we were going clubbing."
"Me too. Aren't we?"
"When did we decide we weren't?"
"We didn't."
"Whattt??"
"I have no idea! Stop making me stupid! Oh my god I need to get away from you!"
Ueda started running down the street away from Kame with his hands over his ears, while laughing at the same time. Kame had a small pout on his lips before, he too, chased after Ueda, yelling at the top of his lungs: "IT'S SUMMER! SUMMER SUM-MER! WOOOH!"
----------------------------------------
"Doo doo doo dum da dee dum doo"
"What are you singing?'
"I'm just creating a tune."
"How cheery of you. Why so hyper, Piper?"
"...My name isn't Piper.."
"I know. But I couldn't find anything else to rhyme with hyper. And plus if you spell out Piper...the first two letter are "PI" which are also the letters of your name."
"Still doesn't make sense."
"Yeah...it doesn't."
Pi looked up at his best friend, Akanishi Jin, standing next to the bench he was sitting on looking glum at his failed attempt at rhyming. Pi had been on his lunch break eating an ice cream cone when he just felt the sudden urge to sing. Today was a good day, sunny, bright, and overall wonderful, or as Jin put it, "cheery".
"It's ok. You'll think of other corny things later."
Jin laughed.
"Haha! I definitely will. So whatsup for tonight, Piper?"
"Are you going to keep calling me Piper now?"
"Yup. And I'm changing your name to Piper on my phone too."
Pi smiled and continued eating his ice cream.
"Maybe I should change your name to Ginger. At least it fits better with your name."
"Oh-my gosh! This could work out perfectly if we ever have dates that we don't want to stick around with!"
"Ha. You're right. Ok, Ginger. I'll be your Piper."
They high fived each other at their smart thinking and laughed. Jin stole Pi's ice cream and continued eating it as if it had been his the whole time.
"Anyway. You ignored my question about tonight."
"Don't you have to be home?"
"No. MinJi's with her mom this week."
Pi shook his head. He still remembered the night four years ago when Jin had come home telling him that he was going to be a father. It had been a stressful week, as Jin was a known playboy and this sudden responsibility was not his cup of tea. Eventually accepting his fate, he soon met and fell in love with his little baby girl, MinJi Akanishi, the day she was born. Her mother, Sarang, a Korean woman, was a sickly, weak woman and could not handle the girl for long periods of time. They had never been in love but they had come to a mutual understanding about how to handle and raise their little daughter.
"I still can't believe you hooked up with a Korean chick."
"Yeah well, I was young, anyone was good for me."
"And now you have a certain type?"
"...No."
Pi laughed.
"Good, cuz playboys don't have types."
"Word. So clubbing tonight?"
"Same place?"
"Si, senor."
"Yo no habla baka."
"...Tonight then."
"Yes."
They laughed and went their seperate ways only to meet up a few hours later that same night.
----------------------------------------
"Oh my goodness! Isn't it great that we can finally go clubbing?"
"Agreed. Do you want anything to drink?"
"No! Let's dance!"
Kame pulled Ueda out onto the dance floor and immediately got lost in the vibes and rhythms of the music blasting around them. Finding partners for themselves, they soon forgot about each other and stuck to their own inner world, at peace with the start of a new year.
Kame had been lost in the center of the mob of dancers for a while now and was getting tired. He needed to rest or get some water before he passed out from dehydration. Pushing his way through the crowd he made his way to the bar and took a seat in the middle, asking for a bottle of water. He looked out into the crowd and noticed Ueda dancing extremely close to another older looking man, their eyes' closed and lips almost touching due to the close proximity. Kame smiled and took the bottle of water from the bartender with a slight thanks.
"You know..bottled water can only last you so long."
Kame looked around, wondering where the voice came from. To his right he noticed a handsome man, obviously older than he was, taller, too, looking down on his sweaty, tired figure. He blushed under the gaze.
"Well it's better than quenching my thirst with alcohol."
"Aaah...I see. An innocent one we have here."
The man looked up at the bartender and they both cracked a smile. Kame felt uncomfortable and childish under their gaze but held his ground.
"I've had alcohol before."
"Mm...I'm sure New Year's champagne doesn't amount to much in the long run."
"And what about you? A hardcore alcoholic?"
"Ha. As if. I know how to have my fun without crossing the limits."
Kame felt a sudden urge and didn't know what he was doing before he blurted out:
"Well then, maybe you can teach me how to have a little fun then?"
The older man's eyes widened and then matched his facial features into a slight smirk as he contemplated Kame. Kame blushed a deeper red at his obvious come-on.
"I'll take you up on that offer. I'm Jin by the way."
"Kame. How old are you?"
"Nice to meet you Kame. I'm 24. Too old for you?"
Kame took note of the age difference between them, but felt a sudden wave of confidence and ignored it.
"I'm 17. Too young for you?"
Jin smirked even more at the boy's sudden growth in confidence.
"We'll see if you can handle men."
"I'm pretty sure it's easier than what I've been working with right now."
Jin laughed, stunned by Kame's cheek. He definitely wanted this one, whether it was morally correct or not.
"You'll regret saying that."
Kame jumped off the bar seat and looked straight into Jin's eyes. He brushed past him slowly, making sure to allow both their body's to touch at the right spots before making his way slowly to the dance floor.
"Prove it."

You think I'm a bad person. The truth is, I didn't even know about the other. No. That's a lie. I knew all about that person, and I didn't do anything to stop myself. Because I wanted you. I wanted you so bad, but others told you to stay away from me. I heard those rumors; I was suddenly infamous with people I had never even met. But that didn't stop me.
I talked to you for days and nights in a row. The first and last person I would hear from each day. I wondered if you were talking to someone else in between our time. If you were seeing anyone, because we never saw each other. We were supposed to go out one day, remember? I ended up going with someone else, because right before that day you ended things. So abruptly, I couldn't believe it. I kept coming back, though. In a desperate attempt to reconcile, I pushed you further away. I needed you.
I think you wasted my life. But I don't blame you. It was my fault for being weak, even though you taught me how not to be.
The guitar is picking up a more defined melody, no longer a pointless strumming. I hum along, already aware of where this tune is taking us. I look out my window and breathe in the summer air. Do you remember our summer? It was hot in the car. The leather stuck to our backs as we listened to the radio and kept our hands to ourselves. The large gap between us, with our fingers inching closer and closer, trying to close that gap. It was unavoidable, our attraction was too strong to be ignored anymore.
I remember always feeling safe with you. Anytime your arms wrapped around my waist, I leaned into you and it was a comfortable moment. You were bigger than me, and I felt you could take on the world for me. I was so helpless, wasn't I? Did that drive you away?
For that, I apologize.
For my desperation, I apologize.
For my dependency, I apologize.
For my constant attempt to get you back, I apologize.
For everytime I dreamed of you, I apologize.
For every tear I shed over you, I apologize.
I look out my window and see the man playing his guitar, sitting on his fireplace, a cigarette between his lips. He looks so at peace. I turn back and look into my apartment. It's empty except for a single box in the far corner. I'm leaving this place behind.
I hear the man singing now.
"Oh please, just once more, dance with me tonight.
It was a sweet time with you in my dream again tonight.
I remember the stories we shared as we matched our feet calmly."
I look back out of the window and down to the man. He looks up this time and puts out his cigarette. His eyes pierce into mine and I can't help but smile. He nods in acknowledgement and restarts his song. I dance around the empty apartment in remembrance one last time. I let out a single laugh and lock the door behind me as I leave my life behind.
The box still lies in the empty room. It's empty. as well, except for this single letter. You'll never find it, but I'd just like to say one thing as a farewell.
You're wonderful.

A/N: omgz. how long has it been? lmfaoo...ive been too lazy to update. but tonight for some reason im motivated to update the final chapter! woooohhh! btw. black friday shopping just makes me so happy. also! happy late thanksgiving to all you crazy turkey lovers out there! (no im not vege. lol) alright! lets go then! there are a lot of exclamation points in this note...
"NOW JUMP UP LETS GET CRAZY! NOW JUMP UP LETS GET CRAZY!"
The club lights flashed a bright red, green, and blue spotlight around the dancefloor as the beat pumped through the stereo and the place was engulfed in darkness. Sounds of people jumping up and down in a strange synchronization with the beat of the music filled the air. Shot glasses overflowing with rum and vodka can be heard clinking together following the beat. Hips sway, sweat drops, and the darkness arouses. The spotlights are turned off and now in absolute blackness, the club really starts to jump as the glow party commences.----------------------------------------
"I hear Kame's getting released today."
"Yeah...he looks much better. We persuaded him to have a celebratory party."
"Hmm..he'll like that. Take care of him, ne?"
"...Jin. What are you planning. Ever since that day with Ueda and me, you haven't spoken a word to either of us. We went looking for you and some junior told us they saw you walk out of Kusano's room. What's going on?"
"Nothing, Pi. Don't worry about it. Just take Kame out tonight. I promise it'll all be over in time for his party."
"Will you be there...?"
Pi looked up from his position on the bed when he heard no response. He felt Jin get up and walk to the bedroom window, shifting the curtains slightly to the right and looking out into the city streets. Jin turned around after a few minutes and climbed back into bed. Pi snuggled up next to him and felt Jin's arm snake around his waist.
"This was supposed to stop..."
Pi sighed. He had known this day would come, but he hadn't prepared for it at all.
"You didn't answer my question."
Jin pressed his face into Pi's hair and placed soft kisses around his head. He got up again from the bed and started putting his clothes on, not exactly in a rush but not at ease either. Pi was used to this behavior. Jin would always feel guilty after they spent the night together. Pi stretched across the bed, hiding his face in Jin's pillow so he wouldn't see the tears springing into his eyes. It was just a routine for them. He was surprised, though, when he felt Jin's hands on his shoulder pulling him head away from the pillow, leaning down to give him a quick kiss.
"I'll be there...for you. For Kame. I can't..I can't stop us."
----------------------------------------
Kame looked around his hospital room one last time before following Ueda out into the sunshine and fresh air. It was too happy of a day. Although Kame pretended to be alright, all he really wanted to do was get to the party quickly and drink the night away. He needed to forget everything and start over in this one night.
Ueda turned back and glanced at his friend who seemed to be in his own world staring up at the clouds. He wondered if Pi had found out anything from Jin. No one knew what was going on anymore. There were too many secrets to keep up with.
Text Message: Ueda: I'm bringing Kame home now.
Text Message: Pi: Jin just left. I'll clean up.
Ueda sighed. Too many secrets.
----------------------------------------
Jin walked into the dark club, getting a slight headache from the neon colors surrounding him. He shifted his gaze over the crowds of people, looking straight to the DJ's spin table. His target had been spotted.
----------------------------------------
"Kame! Are you ready? We need to go! Everyone's already at the club!"
"I'm coming, PI! I'm trying to put this damn shirt on!"
"Seriously...it's not that hard Kame. First, you slip one arm into a left or right hole, then slip your head--"
"Pi! Go bring the car out the front or something!"
Kame laughed. It was ironic how comfortable he and Pi were with each other even after all the commotion. He heard Ueda smack Pi in the head and Pi's childish "ow" of pain. Looking at himself in the mirror, he smiled, mustering up the courage to walk down those stairs and into his new life. It would all be different now, he promised himself.
The club was already filled with hundreds of people, dancing, laughing, and drinking their way through the night. Kame wished he was in each and every single person's place as they passed by the crowd on their way to the VIP section near the bar. Kame's friends were waiting in the lounge for him and as he entered he was engulfed in a mass of sympathetic apologies for his troubles. Ueda and Pi stirred the crowd away with a round of drinks and words of a good time that brought forgettable nights. Kame smirked. His friends were such idiots. That smirk soon faded, though, as he scanned the room looking for the one person he needed, but coming up empty-handed.
"Alright guys! Let's go out to the dance floor! I need some tonight!"
Pi high-fived Koki as they walked out together looking for their night's first victims. The rest of the men followed quickly behind, yelling and calling as if going out the battle. Ueda and Kame lingered behind trying to dissociate themselves from the pack of animals.
"It's alright if you don't want to go out there, Kame."
"What are you talking about?! Come on! Let's go get some girls the old-fashioned way."
Kame moved to the door looking back to check if Ueda would follow him. Sure enough, he did and they made their way out on to the dancefloor, drinks in hand, hips swaying to the music.
Kame spotted Pi over by the DJ's table speaking to one of the bouncers. He called him over once the secret conversation was done and ordered a round of shots for his friends who had stuck with him through these times. The glasses spilled their poisons over the men as they cheered over their good luck and friendship. The shots were taken and a second round was brought out.
"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! HERE WE GO! WE HAVE A VERY SPECIAL EVENT SET UP TONIGHT FOR "SHUUJI" FROM HIS "AKIRA"! HAVE FUN TONIGHT, GUYS!"
Kame looked up in surprise, mid-shot. Pi shrugged and gave him a small grin.
A blue, green, and red spotlight flashed around the danceflloor. The lights were turned off and in the pitch blackness the neon glow of the dancer's teeth and clothes could be seen.
Kame flashed a huge grin at Yamapi.
"NOW JUMP UP LETS GET CRAZY! NOW JUMP UP LETS GET CRAZY!"
Kame pulled Pi and Ueda out to the dancefloor following the beat of the music to his foot movements and hip sways against his friends. He watched how Pi's lips curved into a slight "O" and how his hair stuck to his face from the sweat as a girl grinded up against him, his hands on her hips moving lower and lower as the music got faster and faster. He watched how Ueda bit his lips and raised his arms over his head to pull his hair away from his neck. He watched how Ueda's eyes were half-lidded and how he didn't even care when a random man attached himself to Ueda's back, but just continued to move. He watched himself move to the beat flowing from the stereo, watching how a girl pushed her leg between his two and how his arms grabbed her back and pushed her against him, closer and closer.
----------------------------------------
Loud, pumping music. Drink splashing into glasses. Feet pounding against the dancefloor. A muffled gunshot. Screams. Panic.
The lights to the club were flashed on as quickly as they had been turned off. The music stopped. The people on the dancefloor groaned, looking around to see what made them lose the moment.
Kame looked down at the girl in his arms and let her go. He saw Pi and Ueda do the same with their partners until all three of them stood in a small triangle in the middle of the angry crowd.
"OMG! BLOOD!"
Kame, Pi, and Ueda looked at the frantic girl and then to where she was pointing. Indeed, there was a pool of blood forming around the DJ's table. And standing next to that pool of blood, with a gun in his hand, with his eyes glazed, staring down at the red, was Jin.
None of the three noticed the pushing and shoving of the crowd as panic fell upon their shoulders and they did whatever they could to get out of the club alive. They could only see the man they once knew, holding a shiny black revolver in his hand, and a small splatter of blood on his shirt and face.
Jin looked up, suddenly realizing he had an audience. His eyes locked his Pi's first and then Kame's.
"What did you do, Jin?"
"I...I..."
"Jin. Akanishi. What did you just do?"
"I don't know, Pi. I just pulled the trigger. I was so mad...and just looking at him--"
"Who was it, Jin?"
"...K-Kusano..."
"What?"
"DJ Notti...is Kusano. Hironori."
Kame stared at the pool of blood that seemed to be growing larger and larger with each word that passed through their mouths. He didn't understand. What had Kusano done?
"Kame..."
Kame moved a step back as he heard Jin's voice calling him. Jin was a murderer. How could he have done such a thing? What about everything he had worked for? And Kusano's family? And all of his bandmates?
"Kame...I did this for you..."
Kame let out a shaky breathe. No. This couldn't be right. Things wouldn't have taken such a drastic change unless it was for a drastic reason. Oh god. He felt sick. This was sick. This was insane.
"W-why...why now?"
"It was time, Kame. I couldn't bear it anymore. Something had to be done."
"This wasn't...necessary..."
"OF COURSE IT WAS! YOU DIDN'T HEAR THE WAY HE TALKED ABOUT IT! HE DIDN'T FEEL ONE BIT OF REMORSE! HE SAID IT MADE HIM FEEL HAPPIER!...Something...had to be...done."
"Do you realize what you've done?"
"I stopped a madman. For you! Why are you looking at me like I made the wrong choice?!"
Kame looked around him skeptically. There was more to this than Jin was telling him. Killing a man wasn't a simple task. There had to be a bigger trigger than just himself.
"I did it for you, too, Pi. I wanted to set you free. Those pictures are gone now..."
Kame saw Pi shudder in the bright light. Tears were flowing freely down his face, tears that hadn't caught up with Kame yet. What pictures? Kame eyed Pi and Jin and noticed how Pi refused to look up at Jin and how Jin was silently pleading him to.
Police sirens could be heard outside the club doors. None of them moved. Jin's shoes were surrounded by the red fluid of the dead body next to him. The smell of salt and rust was in the air, but none of them moved. The policed barged through the doors yelling for their right to remain silent. Pi, Ueda, and Kame were shoved against the wall as the police attacked Jin with handcuffs and his rights to remain silent. Jin yelled in Kame's direction, telling him to wait for Jin until he got out of prison, because this was, of course, all for him. The police came through and put a yellow tape around the crime scene. Jin's screams could be heard from outside the club.
And so they moved outside to watch their best friends, their lover, get hauled away in a cop car for committing a murder beyond mercy.
----------------------------------------
Jin turned his body around in the car, looking out through the back window at his loves, his life. He saw Yamapi place his hand over Kame's. He saw Kame lean into Yamapi's shoulder. He saw Yamapi's arm move around Kame's waist, holding him there. And for a second, he thought he saw Kusano next to them, with an all knowing smirk.
And so the mistress took over the queen and the king was captured.

A/N: Really sorry about not updating guys! This time it's for realz. Lol. This is a crazy ridiculous chapter...so add on the hate list!
Jin barged into the studio the next morning. He was on a death mission and anyone that got in his way would die, too. It wouldn't be a nice death, either. Slow and painful was what he was aiming for today. He could hear Pi in the background, trying to catch up with his long strides, yelling at him that this may not be the best way to handle the situation. But in Jin's mind, once filled with rage, the first option was always the best.
Doors flew open and heads stuck out as the many Johnny's boys looked down the hallway at the commotion being flared up. Jin didn't slow down, though. Ueda happened to be in his path at the moment, and Jin made a motion to push him out of the way. Fortunately, Pi had caught up by then and caught Jin's arm mid-swing. Ueda glared at the two and then proceeded to pull them into a conveniently empty room next to them. For such a small body frame, the boxing had worked on Ueda since he had the strength to pull two men and keep them under control. Ueda shoved them inside and turned back to lock the door behind him. Jin let out an angry growl and walked to the door to be freed, but Ueda pushed him back with one hand and silenced him with a quick slap to the face.
"Just what...what in the hell gives you the right to act like this?"
"LET ME GO, UEDA! I DON'T WANT TO--"
"Want to what, Jin? Hurt me? Go right ahead. I won't be the first person anyway."
"DON'T PLAY WITH ME! THIS IS IMPORTANT!"
"Shutup! What the hell are you doing with Pi, first of all?"
Pi looked up as Ueda spat his name out with all his hatred.
"What do you mean what am I doing with him? We're going to kill that bastard who hurt Kame!"
"Jin. That "bastard" is sitting right next to you."
"..."
"..."
Pi coughed.
"I think there's been a mis--"
"Ueda. Get your head on straight. Pi never hurt Kame!"
"Are you retarded? What kind of garbage have you been manipulating Jin with? HUH PI!?"
"HE HASN'T BEEN MANIPULATING ME!"
"WHAT DID HE TELL YOU THEN!? THAT HE DIDN'T RAPE KAME? THAT HE DIDN'T BREAK THE MOST FRAGILE PERSON WE KNOW!?"
"YES! BECAUSE HE DIDN'T!"
"..."
Pi coughed again.
"Ueda...I don't think you know the whole story..."
"Don't talk to me Yamashita. You're nothing to me right now."
"Listen to me then, Ueda..."
Ueda restrained from listening to the two men before him for a few minutes, but once he heard Kusano's name, he sat down and listened from beginning to end without a sound. The truth was shocking. He couldn't move a muscle after hearing the entire story. Jin got up after a minute of strained silence once he finished. He looked at Pi, his best friend, looking the worst he ever has in the last six years. He looked at Ueda, his band mate, and could tell he has admitted defeat to the dilemna. There was no way any of them could solve this without more than one of them getting hurt. Jin walked to the door and unlocked it. Ueda and Pi looked up as they heard the click of the lock and the footsteps of Jin's shoes slowly making their way out.
"I'll deal with this on my own...It's the only way I can make it up to all of us..."
Jin closed the door behind him with one final glance at the two statuesque silhouettes of his friends. The other curious Johnny's members had long gone back into their rooms, and so Jin was left in silence. A silence that traveled with him as he made his way further down the hallway and to the room where his victim was lounging. Without knocking he walked into the room and found himself face to face with the man that had caused three people six years of pain...Kusano HIronori.
Ueda and Pi walked out of the room together after making an agreement not to tell Kame about any of this until he was fully healed. They had promised to visit him together after the day's work was complete, not knowing whether Jin would be able to make it or not. They had also promised not to ask about what went on in the room in which Jin and Kusano were currently occupying. The pair had no intention of coming between a torn man and the man that had ripped him time and time again. It was their duty as his friends, to let him cope with things his own way, but if the situation got out of hand, they'd have his back. A quick nod of heads and they turned their seperate ways and back into their own worlds.
"Kusano..."
"Jin! Hey man! I didn't know you were back! How was LA?"
"Why'd you do it, Notti?"
Jin stepped further into the room, closer to where Kusano was lying on the couch. He saw Kusano slowly rise up from his position as he took in Jin's serious, tense expression, not taking long to figure out what he was talking about.
"Is that why you came home? Because Kame got into and accident?"
"He could have died..."
"Isn't that nice? The king comes rushing home because his queen is dying. How is your mistress handling the news?"
"What is wrong with you..."
"Actually you're queen is fooling around with the mistress, did you know that? Just a bunch of happy little sluts, aren't they? Tell me...did they let his highness watch when they were having their fun?"
Jin clenched his fists shut.
"I'll take that as a no. Must have been tough for you, huh? But then again, you have many more whores in America, so I don't know why you should have become jealous when they only had each other."
"What the fuck are you on about?"
"You honestly want to know why I did what I did?"
"Obviously. But you're testing my patience. I'm ready to kill you right now."
"Tsk JinJin. What would the queen say about you becoming a murderer? I guess once you get thrown into jail, the mistress will be happy to take your position."
"Stop talking bullshit Kusano!"
"Someone's a bit grouchy this morning. Tell me, didn't mistress Pi please you last night, like she did on New Years?"
Jin froze. He had forgotten about the pictures.
"Oooh...looks like someone forgot about my evidence in their blind rage. Hmm..shows how much of an idiot you really are. Well since you're just about ready to attack me, why dont you take a seat and I'll tell you a little story."
Jin stubbornly stayed standing as Kusano shrugged and replaced himself on the length of the couch, folding his hand behind his head.
"So. Once upon a time, there was a little turtle. He was a very poor turtle, you see, because his parents had given up on each other and had left him alone to support his little brothers and sisters. He was hard-working, though, this little turtle, and everyday he would come home with some food that kept his siblings alive. But he never took part in the meals which is why he was so small and weak. Well one day, this turtle came across a beautiful castle on his way home from work. He knew he should have gone home, but curiousity won and he entered the castle. Inside were hundreds of the most extraordinarily beautiful animals from all over Japan. But one stood out to the little turtle in the masses of animals. The shrimp. Now the shrimp was very rich and could have any animal in that room, but the turtle wasn't phased by the super ego of this one creature. Soon enough, the turtle was invited to live in the castle with the rest of them with a promise that his siblings would be fed and wealthy. The turtle happily agreed and was paired off with the shrimp for many of the upcoming events. Slowly, the turtle and shrimp developed feelings for each other that could surpass love. During this time, the shrimp had been crowned the new king of the castle and had taken the turtle as his queen. But, there was always someone else on this shrimp's mind, and since he traveled a lot, there was no way for the turtle to keep track of him. The turtle grew sad at times when the shrimp was on one of his trips and often asked for the company of his friend, the snake (me). The turtle knew his shrimp had affairs with many strangers, but the snake knew that it also occured with his best friend, the pig. The snake knew it would kill the turtle if he found out the pig was kept as the shrimp's mistress. What the turtle also didn't know was that the snake was in love with him and would be able to treat him much better than the pig or the shrimp. Unfotunately for the snake, the love was unrequited and in absolute fury he ordered six of his men to hurt the turtle as much as he had hurt him. It was unfair for everyone to have the turtle except him. What he hadn't counted on was the pig catching him in the act. But he soon found evidence to keep the entire scene under the radar from everyone. The snake still didn't get the turtle in the end...but he ended up hurting all three of the animals that had caused him years of pain...and that made him somewhat happier inside."
Silence.
"That entire speech and I don't even get one word of appreciation?"
Jin stood up and walked to the door.
"You're sick."
Kusano laughed.
"And that's all you can ever do, Jin."
Jin left the room, nauseous. He needed to see Kame.
Pi and Ueda walked into Kame's hospital room and froze. Ueda recovered first and rushed the the bed.
"What are you doing?!"
Kame was out of bed and walking toward his windoe. His eyes were swollen, his head wrapped in bandages. He looked up at his two visitors and offered a small smile.
"Get back in bed right this minute Kamenashi Kazuya."
Kame remained standing by the window.
"I had the strangest dream last night..."
Ueda and Pi were caught off gaurd by the sudden statement, but quieted down.
"I dreamt about...Jin."
Kame choked out the last part, as if it hurt him to say the name.
"He said he hated himself...and that once I got better he'd go away. So that I would stay safe. I told him that I...loved him...But then he went away..."
Tears fell from his eyes as he recounted his dream.
"Kame...please...get back into bed..."
"No. I can't get better yet. He'll stay with me if I'm sick. Please! You don't understand...I-I need him..."
Kame felt the floor around him move. His hand trailed down the wall and he felt himself leaning too much over to the side. Before he collapsed, he felt a pair of strong arms come around him and gently pull him down against the warm body. He knew at once who it was and did nothing to stop himself from leaning closer into the soft chest.
"Kame...baby."
"See...I knew...you'd come..."
"Of course I did...I don't want to see you hurt anymore."
"You want to leave that bad.."
"No no baby. I want to stay. That's why I want to see you get better. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you stayed like this."
"It's not your fault..."
"It still hurts me when you get hurt. I couldn't get there in time to save you. I-I let you..."
Kame felt Jin's tears on his head and shed a few of his own.
"Shh...I'll get better Jin. Look...I'll go back into bed...ok?"
Jin hugged Kame tighter to him and sniffled.
"Jin...ne...it's not your fault, ok?"
Jin sniffled some more and stood up to lead Kame back onto the bed. He turned to leave but felt Kame's hand hold him back.
"Don't beat yourself up over this...I'll be fine..."
"I know you will...I'm just worried if you'll still want me once you are."
"..."
Jin waited for a reasuring answer but when he found none he turned around and kissed Kame's forehead.
"I-I'll see you around then..."
Jin walked to the door, more tears streaming down his face as he left the room. Kame curled up into a ball on his bed and cried himself to sleep for the second night that week. It amazed him that it was due to the same reason. When would this end?
Pi and Ueda looked down the hallway at Jin's retreating figure and then into the room and Kame's curled up position on the bed. A weary sadness had replaced everyone's once happy lives. There was nothing they would do to lift the weariness anymore except wait it out. But wasn't seven months long enough? How much further did each of them have to be pushed before they all cracked...?

Jin ran out of the airport as soon as his feet were on solid ground. Looking around frantically for Pi's infamous silver volvo, he broke out in a sweat when he couldn't find it.
Where the hell was he? He needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Kame was in critical condition. Jin refused to delve further into those thoughts as he felt tears prick his eyes. A car beeped him back to reality and he quickly threw his suitcase in the trunk and dove into the passenger seat.
"Go Pi!"
"...Hi to you too Jin. Nice to see you after...i don't know? Seven months? I've been fine."
"Pi...come on...please. Can we just drive?"
"Yeah man, I'm sorry. Everyone's really stressed right now and I'm trying to lighten the mood."
Jin grunted his response and the rest of the car ride was spent in silence. Once the car was safely parked across the street from the hospital, Jin jumped out and rushed through the automatic sliding doors. Pi was right behind him guiding him to Kame's room with simple, one word directions. As they neared the door to Kame's room, Jin slowed down. He could see the rest of KAT-TUN and News sitting outside, tired and worried about their friend. Maru was the first to notice him.
"Jin!"
Eight heads turned in his direction simltaneously, each one mimicking the one next to them.
"Hey..."
"You're back! Wow...this is sudden..."
"Yeah...I was waiting for my flight when Pi called about...him.."
"Oh..."
The worry and anxiety was replaced on the nine men. Pi put his hand on Jin's back and led him to the door.
"He's straight through there."
Jin hesitated.
"Go...you're seven months late already. Don't make him wait anymore."
Jin entered the white room, slowly pushing the door open with his left hand and peeking in at the sleeping man. The room was dark, being so late at night, but he could still make out the small figure of the man he loved. The man he had abandoned for seven months. And yet, he didn't cry.
Jin took a seat by Kame's bed and just watched the younger man sleep. His breathing was ragged, his face pained. Jin took in the bruises on his beautiful face, the deep cuts running down his arm, the cast on his leg. He looked so broken. Jin placed his hand in Kame's and listened to the beeping of the life support machine and the dripping of the IV fluid. Calming but somewhat disturbing.
Kame twitched in his sleep and tried to free his hand from Jin's. Jin held on a little tighter.
"Let go....itches..."
Jin stared in shock. Should he be awake right now? Should he be here when Kame first wakes up?
Kame's eyebrows scrunched together. He refused to open his eyes but his leg was really itching. He had no idea what had happened to him, but right now all that mattered was that itch in his leg. He just wanted to go back into that long sleep he was taking.
"Kame...?"
That voice. Where had he heard it before?
"Kame can you hear me?"
Jin.
"...Jn..."
"Yeah Kame...it's me. I'm home."
What was this horrible nightmare? First his leg is itchy and now some Jin "talk"-alike has come to cause him more pain? Kame decided he might as well play along.
"You...gone so...long...Missed you...so much."
"Shhh...don't talk. I missed you everyday too Kame. Every second of everyday. I'm sorry you're in so much pain right now. I don't know what to do anymore. Why don't you hate me? I hate myself."
"Jn...Love you..."
Jin cried as he watched Kame struggle to speak. He freed Kame's hand from his and placed it on his mouth.
"Please...don't talk. I want you to get better. And then I'll stay away from you because I'm so scared of hurting you."
"Don't...go again. . . ple--"
Kame went into a wild coughing fit. Jin sobbed harder as he watched the small boy's body writhe in pain. He cried out for help, never once letting go of Kame's hand. Ueda and Pi rushed in with a nurse and used all their force to pull Jin aside so that the nurse could do her job.
"Pi...I think you should take Jin home for tonight. He's tired."
Pi nodded in agreement and dragged Jin from the room, shaking his head at the others once they stood up in shock at seeing Jin in such a state. Pi drove them to his house and placed Jin on the couch before fetching a glass of water for the man. It took Jin a while to calm down. During that entire time, though, Pi was seated beside him, holding and comforting him.
"What happened to us Pi..."
"Maybe you should just sleep now."
"No. I want to knowhow things got so fucked up."
"It's been seven months Jin. It's a long story..."
"I won't be able to sleep tonight..."
Pi sighed. He knew what he had to tell Jin but he didn't know how the other would handle it at this time. He wasn't in the most stable of conditions.
"We were all broken that day you left Jin. Kame because of me...and later you...so I guess he had it the worst. Me because of Kame. And you because of me and Kame. But you had an escape...we couldn't just leave. There were some complications in Kame's and my relationship...things that date back about five years ago."
"What...?"
"Kame was raped Jin. By six men. All in one night. I found him lying in front of your house. Apparently he had gone there to hide but you weren't home...When I went back later to collect his belongings, I found Kusano there. He had just payed off the six men who raped Kame. I was furious but he blackmailed me...I kept Kame safe for the next four years. But he found out about the incident just a few weeks before our anniversary. He thought I had planned it all. So he tried to pay me back for my betrayal. I could never tell him Kusano had done it...I'd rather have him furious with me than cause him more pain. After that, though, he wasn't the same. He didn't want to tell you he had been raped because he felt tainted. And you thought he was still debating between you and me...so you left...again. After that Kame had been spending his nights at clubs finding a new person to pleasure him every night. His accident occurred after a heated fight with one of his lovers...Ueda found him..."
Pi was sobbing by the end of the story. But he looked straight at Jin, not wanting to miss one emotion that flickered through the silent man's face. Jin was stunned to silence. He would have never thought Kame had gone through such pain. If he had known, he would have never left. He would've taken care of Kame. He also felt grateful to Pi for taking such good care of Kame for those four years, when he couldn't. He was furious at Kusano for being such a disgusting bastard.
"What...what did he ... blackmail you with?"
Pi looked down. The tears were flowing again. He had never told anyone about the incident.
"Pictures...of us..."
"...From New Years...?"
Pi nodded. Jin shook his head in frustration.
"How the hell could he have gotten those?? No one knows about that Pi!"
"I don't know Jin..."
"It would break Kame's heart if he saw those..."
"I know..."
They sat in each others embrace for a while, each taking in the other's scent. The scent they had missed for so long. The only thing that could keep both of them on their feet and be prepared for every day. Jin looked down at his best friend, his head tucked neatly into the crook of his neck, slowly drifting to sleep. Jin caressed his head for a while, letting his fingers flow through his black curls. He leaned down to place a kiss on his head.
Pi looked up at Jin's face mirroring his own tear-stained face. This was the way things used to be. How they comforted each other. In each other's arms. Because they knew the other so well, maybe even better. There was a different kind of love between them, and no one could ever explain what it was.
Pi smiled a small, watery smile. Jin leaned down to place a small peck on his lips. Pi responded slowly, then moving higher so they were level with each other. Pi's hands moved behind Jin's neck and Jin's hands stayed tangled in Pi's hair. It wasn't really a romance, just their way to deal with things. They poured in all their pain into their passion and allowed the other to take it from them. It had occurred many times, but apparently one too many. Someone had caught them that one night.
Pi tasted salt at the corner of his lips, he guessed it was either his tears or Jin's. Opening his eyes he found Jin looking back at him, tasting the same saltiness. They were both sobbing. So broken. So confused.
Jin reached under Pi and positioned the man below him, never breaking contact with his face. It would just be another night. But this time, their pain was too much for the other to take in. This time...they were forced to keep some of that pain to themselves.
Kame woke with a start in his hospital room. His sides hurt like hell and his throat was dry from coughing so much before. For some unexplainable reason to him, he half expected to see Jin seated on the chair by his bed. Reaching over with his good arm for the jug of water and glass, he gazed into Ueda's face, illuminated by the moonlight. He couldn't quite understand it, but somehow the accident had shed a new light on him. Hadn't it always been Ueda there comforting him? Hadn't it always been Pi who had taken care of him? And hadn't it always been Jin whom he had loved? He couldn't explain it, but he loved all three men. They were his life.
Kame looked out his single window and wished upon wishes that maybe Jin would come home soon. Maybe someone had called him to tell him about the accident. Why would he care, though? Kame sighed. Even after seven months, his heart still clenched at the thought of Jin not loving him.
He drifted back to sleep soon after. Ueda woke to stretch his sore muscles and saw the lone tear on Kame's cheek. Brushing it away gently, Ueda placed a soft peck on Kame's forehead and left the room.
Ueda opened the door to his dark apartment. It was late at night, or early in the morning, he didn't debate on which. Placing his keys on the kitchen counter, he flicked the lights on and was shocked to see a figure sprawled out on his couch. Ueda kneeled down in front of the figure and gently brushed the strands of hair away from the man's face. He was about to get up when he felt a gentle tug on his wrist. He kneeled down again and cupped the man's cheek and gazed into his eyes.
"I waited up..."
"I know...I thought you would have gone home...I'm sorry im so late."
"It's alright...how is he?"
"Stable. I don't know what to tell him once he wakes up.."
"We'll think about that when the time comes. What about you?"
"I'm fine."
"No you're not. I see you falling apart everyday."
The man sat up on the couch and pulled Ueda up onto his lap. He hugged him tightly against his chest and kissed his forehead.
"I'm just worried about everyone..."
"I know. And it's slowly killing you."
"How else would everyone survive?"
A smirk. Ueda laughed.
"Oh! So you can still laugh?"
The man tickled Ueda mercilessly until Ueda was crying and gasping for air. The man stopped and leaned over Ueda on the couch and kissed him. Ueda responded but pulled away a short while later because he was still out of breathe from laughing so much.
"I love you, Ryo."
"I love you too, princess."

A/N: Omg. I'm so sorry that I keep popping up with random songs....but seriously I come across these as randomly as I correlate them with the already planned chapter in my head. Up to you if you want to listen to it or not...but I am right now while typing. The violins just make the world better and the inter-singing is another plus. Love it. Anyway...so I thought of this chapter on tuesday in class again...so I've had another week to work on it. Hopefully it comes out good...also sorry to Mariel for not including the Kameda scene. I promise the next chapter will allow it to make more sense. Lol.

Time can be so coincidental. But usually the coincidences aren't welcome.
Ueda walked into the club for what seemed to be the fifth time in the same week. Why he did it, no one knew. Kame never asked anyone to babysit him. It was his decision to waste away his life in dark alleys surrounded by drugs and loud music. But Ueda felt he held an unspoken promise to Jin. To take care of him. And Ueda would never let Kame go to waste.
Looking around, Ueda was blinded by the strobe lights mixed with the fog and the colored spotlights. It felt like a trance more than a club, but he pushed his way through to where he was sure Kame was. His search was unsuccessful.
The VIP booth was empty.
The bathroom was unoccupied.
The alleyway was as lonely as ever.
The seconds on Ueda's watch seemed to tick by louder and louder, drowning out the music with each second. Where was he? Ueda had made sure where Kame was going tonight. There was something wrong with the strange emptiness of the most intimate spots in the entire club. Something wrong with the nonstop input of fog coming from the DJ's table from a fog machine. Something wrong with how suffocating the entire place was. Ueda checked his watch again. It was 3:04 AM.
Deciding that staying in the club wouldn't help him find Kame, he headed back out into the cold night. Pulling the collar of his jacket closer around his neck and stuffing his hands in his pocket, Ueda breathed out a large puff of air as he leaned against the wall by the entrance looking for his friend. Hearing some commotion on his right, ueda turned his head and watched a young couple argue. It seemed serious, but they were drunk. Ueda didn't want to get involved. Ueda could hear his watch ticking somehow slower now that he was out of the club in the silent street.
The ticking stopped.
A strange tune replaced it. A tense, impatient tune, like from a music box. It went away as quickly as it came.
Ueda peered down at his wrist with the sudden silence. His watch had stopped, the time stuck on a single moment. Tapping the glass of the watch, Ueda looked up startled by the eerie silence around him. The couple has stopped arguing. The smaller man of the two was crossing the street now, his head turned to look back at his lover. His hair looked strangely familiar. The angles of his face did, too.
No one noticed the car speeding down the street that night. But Ueda definitely noticed the body flying twelve feet from the car after impact.
The watch started ticking again.
At precisely 3:14 AM, Kamenashi Kazuya was involved in a near fatal car crash.
Jin made his way around his apartment in Los Angeles. A suitcase was open on the floor with clothes thrown inside, unfolded and scattered.
It had taken a while for him to decide to head back home, but Jin missed himself. He had admitted to himself one morning, while shaving, that he was never the same man when he traveled to America. It was like split personality, where his more energetic and warm side stayed in Japan. And in America, he was overcome by absolute solitude and a coldness that could get him any girl he wanted.
He had spoken to Jen a few hours ago about his revelation and she had naturally encouraged him to go home. She would still wait for him when he was ready to come back. Jin couldn't explain how grateful he felt to have such a friend.
Jin zipped up his suitcase once he was sure his essentials were packed away safely into the bag. Taking the apartment key from the bowl, he closed the door behind him and slipped the key back under the door. He didn't think he would come back anytime soon.
Sitting in the taxi that took him to the airport, Jin looked back at the scenery he was leaving behind. Nothing he would miss too much. He glanced at his watch, his flight only an hour away. He smiled.
Jin stood in front of the departure board that announced when and where his flight would be taking off.
Airline: JAL Flight: 94 Destination: Tokyo Gate: 24 Time: RESCHEDULED
Jin read the status of his flight three more times to be sure he wasn't making a mistake. Apparently there was a technical problem with the wing of the plane, so new flight was to be put into place.
It had been maybe eleven hours since he reached the airport and after taking a long nap, Jin checked his status again. The flight had been rescheduled to leave in half an hour. Slightly annoyed, Jin thought about the fact that if his flight had not been delayed, he would be walking on Japanese soil by now.
While waiting in line to board the plance, Jin felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
"Hello?"
"Jin...Jin thank God you answered. There's been an accident."
"With who? Is everyone ok?"
"It's Kame."
"When?"
"Last night...in front of a club. He's in critical condition Jin. We need you to get on the next flight home."
"I'm already at the airport Pi. Who found him?"
"All I know is that when we saw Ueda in the hospital, he was hysterical and kept saying 3:14 AM and humming a weird tune."
"I'll be back in Tokyo in another twelve hours. Keep him alive..."
Jin's fist was clenched tightly around his phone when he hung up. The other hand crushing the poor airline ticket. His body was tense and his eyes were unfocused as tears blurred them. The people around him stopped moving as he pictured Kame in a bed, unmoving. He couldn't stop thinking about how much Kame still made him worry.
Still in line, Jin moved forward slowly as one by one the impatient passangers finally boarded their flight. As he reached the counter, a friendly smile was directed at him, but he found he could not return it.
Frozen still, Jin heard the faint sound of a very distant tune. Impatient and tense, but allowing the notes to flow calmly over each other.
"Sir...are you alright?"
Jin looked up at the woman in front of him.
"...W-was the ticket changed once the flight was rescheduled?"
"No, sir. We made arrangements to let this ticket be used for the next flight so there would be no confusion to get new ones."
Jin swallowed hard against the lump in his throat. He couldn't breathe.
"Can I...can I see that ticket again?"
The woman regarded the man in front of her skeptically, but handed the ticket over to him anyway.
Jin looked down at the slip of paper in his hands, before letting it fall through.
Akanishi Jin's premier flight to Tokyo was scheduled for 3:14 that afternoon.

7 Months Later
Jin looked at the woman sitting next to him in the car. He couldn't even begin to process how grateful he felt toward this woman, but that gratefulness had never and probably never would turn to love. He knew her patience was everlasting, but how long can a person live on with unrequited love?
It was Christmas Eve, not the first he hadn't spent with his family, friends...lover. Instead, he was here in California heading to a house party hosted by his closest friend. He hadn't seen him in the seven months since he came back. In fact, he hadn't seen anyone except her. Jennifer.
She was the first person he had called the minute he stepped out of the airport, knowing she would keep him hidden until he was ready. He had actually met her on his first trip to Los Angeles all those years ago. Jen was a friend of his room mate and they had hit it off quite well, going to parties and other events together. But Jin couldn't lie to himself, he knew he had to go home sooner or later. And she accepted that. She waited.
She helped him heal. Gave him the time to spend those endless nights crying his eyes out on the carpeted floor of her apartment. Gave him the time to slowly forget the pain. Gave him the time to open up to her.
"Come on, Jin. They're waiting."
Waiting. It seems everyone's waiting for something these days. Jennifer got out of the car and stepped on the sidewalk, waiting for Jin to lock the car. Jin took his time, looking back at the familar neighborhood from his past visit. Nostalgia hit him as he looked back at the streetlight in the middle of the street, a spotlight on the blacktop.
The house in front of it was booming with life, the party already having been started. Jen decided to go in first, giving him time to reminisce. It was a skill of hers, knowing whether or not he wanted her. It hurt her at times, knowing she wouldn't be able to refill that hole currently growing larger in his heart, but she tried her best to tape it up a bit.
Jin smirked. But as much as he tried, the shortening of breathe as his heart constricted around itself and the tears springing into his eyes could not be stopped.
Under the street lights kono hikari tatta hitotsu no kizuna sa
Tooku hanare wasurete mo kitto zutto kawaranai
Under the street lights, this light is one bond
Even if we're far apart and forget, surely, it won't change.
Ueda entered the overly packed club in search of his friend. Judging by the way things had turned out over these seven months, he figured he would find the young man in the back, hidden form the crowd, but still the center of attention.
Kame was seated in the VIP section of the club, all the way in the back, concealed by the darkness and loud music pumping around him. He moved his face down toward the table and slowly inhaled the white powder lined up in neat little rows in front of him. He leaned back against the couch, his eyes unfocused as he watched the man next to him unzip his pants. Smirking, Kame pushed the man away, going down toward the table for another hit. The man, getting a little impatient, pushed Kame back against the couch and captured his lips. Kame answered fiercely, and quickly took control of the situation, ravishing the man with as much lust and passion he could put into it.
Ueda moved his way to the back of the club and watched as Kame wasted another night of his career. It hadn't started out like this but things changed once the concert tour was cut short because of Jin's abrupt departure. Kame had come on to Koki, but stopped soon after Ueda had given him a good punch to the face and a lecture about playing with other people's feelings. So Kame had moved on to people without feelings. People just looking for a quick night. People who didn't want to deal with themselves. The drugs came later. But it was always Ueda who found him in the back alley, abused and crying himself into another unconscious day.
"Kame..."
Kame looked up at the man intruding on his fun. All the anger and rage that he had been feeling for the past few months entered his eyes. Scowling up at the man he turned back to his toy and whispered something in his ear. The man reluctantly got up and left without a look back. Ueda took his place next to Kame, cleaning up the white powder around his nose and his ruffled appearance.
"It's time to go home Kame..."
Kame's head rolled on his shoulders, completely unaware of the pain he was causing everyone. As long as his pain dissapeared, it didn't matter.
Ueda lifted Kame up and led him to the exit of the club. Kame's eyes adjusted to the brighter streets, the light mainly coming from the single streetlamp in front of the club. Kame looked down at the spotlight, dazed, but somehow aware of the effects it had on him. Ueda looked back as he noticed Kame had stopped walking. No one could deny the silence that emanated between the two, as they went back to happier times, each scene different. No one could deny the dissapointed gaze in Ueda's eyes. No on could deny the tears in Kame's. No one could ever deny the pain coming from both of them...the pain of love long lost...and the new pain that came with it.

Pi looked out of his window that night. Something had changed in the air and he felt it deep down in his heart. It had been seven months since he had anything to do with KAT-TUN, but he was sure this change had something to do with the two men who were as broken as him. The night was colder than usual, but still. No sounds came from the streets below, not even a stray cat or the quick footsteps of a late worker going home after a long day.
Ryo had been staying with him since Jin left. He knew Pi couldn't take care of himself, so he took it upon himself to take care of him as best as he could. Pi had proven to be the most non difficult heart-broken man that could ever possibly have existed. He was silent, went back to work the next day, and was responsive to any question ever asked. But Ryo knew better. This wasn't Pi. He knew this because once they would come home Pi would go to the balcony and stare down at the streets, allowing his silent tears to flow freely. It was the only way he would deal with things like this. Without Kame by his side, Pi had no idea how to express himself. It was always Kame instigating the responses. It wasn't like Jin's departure hadn't affected him, either. He was pained more than Kame's departure because he knew that was for the best. But Jin. Jin had no part in this. He was just played piece by piece in this charade until he couldn't take it anymore. More than anything, Pi would never be able to forgive himself for hurting Jin like this.
Ryo came up from behind Pi on the balcony and placed his hand on Pi's shoulder.
"Something's different, Ryo."
They both looked down at the empty street. Both drawn to the single streetlamp shining its light down on that one spot on the sidewalk. It was painful to see that while everything was covered in darkness, there was at least one part that had light shed on it. Pi wondered if he would ever be able to step back into that light. If he would ever be able to forgive himself.
Tears that had been long gone fought their way back into his eyes as he stared at the blinding light. Ryo kept his hand on Pi but couldn't stop his own tears from forming as he thought back to all the pain that had consumed his friends. Something had changed on this night. But it wasn't for the better. It was more like the dead weight of unsaid words that pulled everyone down...and now it was too late for anyone to swim back to the surface.

konbanwa my loves :)
tonight is my random rambling night...so lets get on with it
some things have been pointed out to me tonight...others i found out myself
so lets see what we have to share:
NEWS
1. Happy Birthday PV -- obviously this is the talk of the town right now
-- Pi definitely looks adorable in it...with the long scarf and his perm (i think this hairstyle was a good choice)
-- Ryo's skinny pants are love ... and his hair. Altho i like the non-parted style much better...this works too.
-- There's a small part with massu at like 0:50 when theyre all singing 'kimi no happy birthday' and massus hand is in his pocket and hes moving his legs. i find that sexy somehow
-- I appreciate the insert of koyashige and ryopi love. Also appreciated: more shige screentime!
-- best part ever: kei's air hump :-D
-- does it seem like tego-nyans being blocked in this vid?
2. there's a little 'tokyo date land' in the Popolo July magazine scan of NEWS and their 'date guide'
-- if anyone checks it out at news_jpop be sure to pay close attention to: Pi's beach being fun, but beach houses being more fun statement. and Ryo's mayonnaise statement.
is it just me...or is this extremely pervy? :-D
3. also on llilprox's lj...there are magazine scans of pi on the cover of fine boys
-- apparently gold suits him better than silver? imagine if he got a gold tooth *shudder*
KAT-TUN
1. Ueda Tastuya: princess to ultimate kinky sex god
-- honestly...mouse peace was a complete hit! i obviously didnt go but i did read the report by chibi_hime...she did a great job at translating and remembering every detail of the concert (thanks for the experience)
-- wish i could have gone: the whips seem to hold my interest the most (damn my pervertedness...im reaching up to ryopi level)
-- flying seems to be a key component to any concert
-- somehow the entire theme of this concert fit tat-chans image with the horror stories, and the darkness, and the chains and things.
PIKAME
1. thanks to hi`na_chan i made a new discovery that i didn't like kame in nobuta wo produce
-- i always felt so bad for pi...do u know how much i cried for him!?!!? *sadface*
-- akira shock made me sad wen they didnt know his name...WHAT KIND OF FRIENDS ARE YOU!?!?
well. thats all i have for now
hopefully no one is offended
leave comments with your opinions :)

I'm absolutely sorry is this chapter seems to have nothing to do with the story...dont hate me :) ap chemistry has taken a drastic toll on my brain for this week. hina_chan has kept me entertained tho...u need to tell me how the sailing went!! :-D ok. well this chapter is basically pikame's turn...another twist. Kame stayed in the park for a few more hours since Jin had left him. He knew by the time he saw the sun setting, that Jin was already on a plane heading west. Heading back to his safety zone. Kame wondered how things had gotten so strangely out of control. Wasn't it all going so well for these four years? But now, with one event, things seem to be in an endless vortex of disaster. Kame knew he would have to face Pi's wrath soon. He was sure the scene he put on with Kevin last night had put him in a bad mood. But also the fact that he ended up sleeping in Kevin's house, might have put him into an angry fit. Kame also knew that Ueda might be angry at him, as well. This plan that had made to make Pi see that he knew what had happened, by acting like that, was backfiring at the rate of a bullet. Kame felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, snapping him out of his daze.
"Moshi moshi?"
"Pi's on the warpath looking for you."
"I figured as much."
"Where are you?"
"Where Jin was last..."
"...Kame"
"Pi should know...he was Jin's best friend."
"I'll let him know."
"Ne...Ueda..."
"Yes?"
"Would you ever sacrifice your own happiness for the sake of the ones you love?"
"Kame...what are you talking about?"
"Nothing...just call Pi. I'll call you once I'm done with that."
"Are you sure you don't want me to come down there first?"
"No. My heart's already in a million pieces..I don't want it to heal a little and then have it break again. I'll be fine."
"I'll let Pi know..."
"Thank you."
Apprently, Pi was in the area when Ueda had called him, because he appeared in the park in less than twenty minutes since Kame has spoken to him. They looked at each other as Pi stopped the face Kame in front of the fountain. Emotions splayed out in two pairs of eyes, each pair holding different feelings but some similarities. Betrayal was one of them.
"What have you done, Kame?"
"I did what you did to me Pi.."
"..."
"Do you remember?...Those four years ago? When you had apparently 'saved me'?
Pi's eyes widened in shock, but he recovered quickly moving into the defensive.
"What are you talking about?"
"B"
Pi gasped. Stiffened. And closed his eyes, exhaling slowly. He took one step away from Kame, turning slightly, probably thinking of running out of the park.
"Who's B Yamapi?"
"H-how...how do you know him?"
"We had a little reunion yesterday. Not quite as fun as I might have imagined...but still gave me quite an insight on the missing memories."
"What did he tell you..?"
"You should know. They were your orders."
"He...he thinks...I-I did it?"
"He specifically said: 'Tell your boyfriend, B said hi."
Pi was shaking where he was standing by then. Tears were in his eyes as he remembered the night that had passed so long ago. The memory was as clear as day, and each time he thought about it, Pi would cry himself to sleep.
Pi had been in his house the night Jin left. He had spent the day with Jin and allowed him to just go before making the goodbyes too drawn out or depressing. He was about to go to sleep, but in that quiet night, on that quiet street, he could make out the faint sound of footsteps on the sidewalk. Turning around from the stairs leading to his bedroom, Pi walked to the living room and drew back the curtain that obscured his view. He looked down both sides of the streets, until he found a small silhouette of a person running down the street. He couldn't tell who the person was at first, but with a quick glance at his hair and Pi knew it was Kame. He saw Kame banging on the door of the house across the street and a few houses away from his; Jin's house. Jin's empty house. He could hear the faint pounding of Kame's fists on the door, but heard his cries loud and clear. Pi wondered if this was just Kame being melodramatic about Jin leaving, so he turned around to go to bed. Just before climbing into bed, however, Pi looked out his bedroom window to check on Kame. He saw six men walk out from behind the gate leading to Jin's house, satisfied smirks on their faces. He could make out someone laying on the grass and instict drove him to run out of the house and onto Jin's lawn. What he found was beyond the most disurbing sight a person could ever lay eyes on. A broken body, bruises, and blood, all on a small, fragile, almost unconscious boy. Pi picked him up and wrapped his arms around Kame to keep him from getting any colder. He dropped Kame off at his house, put him into bed, and went back out to retrieve his clothes. Surprisingly, though, the clothes were gone. Looking around, Pi found them to be held by none other than, Kusano Hironori.
"What are you doing here, Hiro?"
"Yamashita...it's been a while."
"..."
"I'm actually here on business...my...'clients'...seem to be satisfied with what i provided..."
"You did this?"
"Ha. No. Well in a way yes. But technically you did. And someone named B."
"What the hell?"
"See...I figured...that since Kame is turning into such a whore...he might as well be put back into his rightful place. So I told B...that there's some fresh meat out there...and I pretended to be you. Saying that you're into kinky shit like that."
"What insane reason would drive you to do something like that?! I can call the fucking police on you right now! YOU'RE CRAZY--"
"Ah-ah Yamashita. We musn't get to overconfident, now should we? Do you honestly want those nude pictures to be revealed in public? Do you honestly want to bring down everyone around you with those pictures?"
"You're blackmailng me?"
"Is it working?"
"..."
"I figured it would. Well ... I'll be seeing you Pi. Nice talking to you."
"You mother fu--"
Kusano punched Pi in the face and walked away with Kame's clothes before Pi could finish his statement. Pi, suddenly depressed at not being able to protect Kame, walked back into his house, and watched the boy sleep. The next morning, when Kame woke up without the slightest memory of the previous night, Pi swore to protect him and lied in order to do that. To this day, no one knew the truth, and no one had ever asked.
Tears were streaming out of Pi's eyes as he watched Kame in front of him and relived that night again. It was probably the worst night of his life, and he spent everyday trying to make up for it. It might not have been enough, because Kame had still ended up running back to Jin, but he had stayed with Pi. That was all that mattered.
"Feeling remorseful, Yamashita?"
"...You don't know...you don't know what happened that night..."
"Oh I think I know perfectly well...considering I relived it just a few hours ago...."
"It wasn't me Kame. I swore to protect you.."
"Tell me. Was this after I had six men rape me...or before?"
"..."
"It's over Pi. There's nothing you can say that will change what I think or feel for you right now. Imagine what Jin would do if I told him. I'm extending your lifeline by now telling him. I suppose you should be grateful."
"I'm sorry..."
Smack
"Isn't it a bit too late to be apologizing?"
Pi held his face as he looked toward the fountain. He knew that if he looked into Kame's eyes he would see all the pain and betrayal in his eyes. He would see the blame being put on him and he just couldn't live with that. If Jin found out...Pi didn't even want to think about that. He figured this would be the best way to handle things. Let Kame vent out his anger, never needing to know that the man who once loved him caused this all to occur. Let Kame believe that someone unimportant in his life had done it. Let Kame hate him. As long as he would benefit with some amount of happiness from it. As long as he would finally end up with the one he loved after all his misfortunes.
"I can't ever forgive you, Pi..."
"I know..."
"Four years..."
"I know..."
Kame turned to leave, no tears being shed, his posture straight. It hadn't been as hard as he had expected, but Pi's reaction to the confrontation was puzzling.
"This is goodbye then...Yamashita-kun..."
Pi looked up at the use of the formal name. It broke his heart but he took it.
"I hope Jin can be better at this than I ever was."
"I don't think Jin would ever consider having someone rape me."
Another stab to Pi's heart.
Kame walked to the entrance of the main street.
"But just like you, Jin is no longer part of the picture."

Kame woke up the next morning in unfamiliar surroundings with a splitting headache. He felt a soft bed under him, sheets covering him, and a pillow under his head. Light streamed in through the tiny cracks between the curtains but they gave off enough light for him to look around. Turning his head to his side, he saw another man sleeping soundly next to him, completely unaware of the personal battle now starting within Kame. It was the same man that he was dancing with at the club last night. Sitting up quietly, he slipped under the covers to gain some memories of the occurences of the previous night. Realizing that his shirt was missing from his body he emerged from under the covers and looked around again. He found it strewn messily on the carpeted floor by the bedroom door over a pile of jeans and a belt. The man next to Kame groaned and turned around to face away from him and continued sleeping. Kame, as sick as he felt about the night's events, slipped out of bed and grabbed his shirt before leaving the room. Opening the door, he walked into a small living room. Apparently, he was in some hotel room, which made the situation even better to him. He laughed to himself sarcastically before strolling over to the sink and filling himself a glass of water to dull down the headache.
"Nothing happened...if that's what you're worried about."
Kame whirled around the face the bedroom door and found the man leaning against the door, yawning.
"What..."
"Nothing happened. You passed out after taking off your shirt. Said something about Jin and knocked out."
"B-but your pants..."
"I wasn't going to sleep in my jeans, now was I? Don't worry, I didn't touch you."
"...I only said Jin's name?"
"That's what I heard...why...he your lover or something?"
"...In a way..."
Riiing riiing
"I think that's yours...it fell somewhere by the door last night..."
Kame searched frantically for his ringing phone before finding it right in front of the hotel room door. It was Ueda.
"Moshi moshi?"
"Kame? Where the hell have you been? We've been trying to reach you since last night!"
"I...got caught up with some things..."
"I saw you leave with him, Kame."
"Ueda...not now. Please."
"Look...I said I would go along with your little plan to get back at Pi, but this is already taking it too far. We haven't even heard from Jin. What do you think this is doing to him?"
"Jin didn't go home...?"
"He did. But I guess he left again. We heard a rumor floating around the studio that Jin had left for California. We went up to Johnny to confirm it, but he wouldn't tell us anything. And Jin isn't answering his phone."
"He left? What about Pi?"
"Pi was raging mad. None of us have ever seen him that mad...I don't know what he's planning now. Please be careful--"
"Ueda. I have to go. I'll call you later."
"Kame, wait--"
Kame hung up the phone and stormed around the hotel room picking up any extra belongings that may have fallen out of his pocket.
"I'm sorry, I have to go."
"It's alright. By the way, the name's Kevin."
"Kevin...thank you for not doing anything last night..."
"Hey, it's cool. I'm not a rapist. Now go!"
Kame cringed at his words and rushed out the door, sprinting to the elevator, and rushing out of the hotel before stopping to think about where he was. At this point, he had no idea where Jin was and the only way to reach him would be by phone, but we wasn't answering. Seeing no other solution, Kame decided to send him a text message. The response took a little longer to come, so Kame sat down on a street bench somehow placed conveniently next to where he was standing at that moment.
"Where are you?!"
"Going home...?"
"You're going home now?"
"To California."
Kame read the message over and over trying to see if what it was telling him was true. He felt his heart break a tiny bit at the news, but shook it off with the new determination to find Jin, wherever he was, and explain things to him. Standing up from his seat on the bench, Kame ran as fast as he could toward the nearest bus station and hopping on the next available bus. He knew where Jin would be since he usually went to this place before travelling. It was a tiny square park in the middle of the city but secluded, with one large waterfountain in the middle and a square of flowers surrounding it. Footpaths were built on all four sides, while the rest of the land was surrounded by flowers. It was more of a shortcut into the other side of the city, but very few people knew about the secluded beauty. Kame jumped off the bus as soon as he passed by the narrow passageway to the garden and walked through it silently. He found Jin sitting in one of the benches, facing the waterfountain, deep in thought. Kame walked up slowly toward him and stopped when he was within two feet of him.
"So you were just going to leave..."
Jin looked up from the fountain, startled, but quickly changing his features to hide the hurt showing in his eyes as he recognized the visitor.
"Why are you here?"
"You didn't even tell me..."
"It would have been easier on all of us. And you seemed pretty busy last night..."
"That's a completely different story."
"No. I think it's part of the same story. Part of our story. The same story that seems to be over now..."
"But it's not over, Jin..."
"I think you made yourself clear last night."
Kame's eyes watered as he realized the meaning of Jin's words. He hadn't noticed it last night, but the little show he was putting on for Pi, had affected Jin as well. It was a stupid mistake on his part, but the anger within him, to hurt Pi, was just too empowering for him to care about much else. He felt used at the time and wanted to use someone to feel better, as little as it helped. Jin was never part of the plan, never aware of what was truly going on.
Kame stepped closer to Jin and reached a shaky hand to his face. Jin didn't move away, but kept his gaze locked on Kame, his own tears forming in his eyes. Kame's tears seemed unstoppable now as they flowed down his face freely.
"P-please...believe me...it's-it's not part of our story..."
Jin turned away from Kame, but using his other hand, Kame pulled Jin's face back to look at him. Jin stood motionless, eyes hurt and sad, but not letting a single tear fall.
"I can't trust you anymore, Kazu. It's not like I made this decision right after last night..this had been building up for four years now..."
"I was wrong...so wrong...about everything."
Kame shook his head as the tears continued falling, his body shaking violently, his breathing ragged. Jin looked worried and eased out of his stiff posture to help keep Kame up. Kame's head made contact with Jin's chest and the tears soaked through his shirt.
"Kazu...Kazu...please...I have a flight to catch..."
Kame looked up into Jin's eyes and for a split second saw the turmoil he was causing his love.
"Just one last kiss then, Jin. One final goodbye."
"Don't make this harder..."
"I need something to keep going...I don't want to forget you..."
"Maybe that would be for the best...it's obvious we can't trust each other anymore. So maybe letting go this way will be better..."
Jin loosened himself slowly out of Kame's death grip and looked into his eyes once more, this time from a little farther away.
"Jin..."
"I'm sorry, Kazu. I can't."
Jin turned to walk away through the path ahead of him leading back into the city, back to reality. He needed to get out of here.
"I still love you Jin."
Jin paused but didn't turn back.
"No matter what Kazu...You know I'll keep loving you..."
And he walked away with those final words. Not stopping to hear Kame's soft whisper of the truth behind their story. Not bothering to read the signs of the winds telling him to go back. Not pausing to think about the consequences of this action. He just left without a glance back, knowing that all that would be left behind is a broken man with an even more broken heart...

A/N: Wow. im really confused with this story now. the title makes no sense. the summary makes no sense. kame being randomly raped becuase of pi makes no sense. what does make sense is this absolutely wonderful song that is going to be used in this chapter. i love it. its like sex ... techno style haha :-D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M65zI9LH-a
Also, the last line is what Kame says...so don't get confused :)
Kame dropped his phone on the ground next to him after he heard the person on the other line yell out in a panicked voice, comforting him by saying he's be there in a few minutes. It was too late now, though. He found out a disgusting truth about the man he had been with for four years. He had been living a bigger lie than Jin and him for these four years, and he would have never guessed at it. No one would have because no one believes that a person can truly be so sick and twisted. Kame looked up at the green above him, the pain between his legs subsiding slowly, wondering what he would tell his savior when he showed up. He decided not to let anyone else know about what he had just learned and slowly crawled to his knees, searching for his torn clothes. Putting them on carelessly, his body weary, his fingers shaking, but his face calm, he waited on the tree stump for the man to show up. Mind reeling faster than normal he tried to find a way to get Pi to tell him the entire truth about that night.
"Kame! Kame!"
A voice in the distance, muffled by the tall trees surrounding them. Kame stayed in his position waiting for the sound to get closer before making any movement to announce his presence.
"Kame! Kazuya!"
Kame smirked at the use of the name. How naiive was he to believe that some people actually cared about him enough to call him that again. His trust in anyone had suddenly dissapeared. Anyone but this one person. More yelling came through the thick forest and before long, crunches of feet on leaves gave the sign that the man had reached Kame. Sprinting toward Kame, the man hugged him close to his body before looking into his eyes and hugging him again.
"Oh my god. Thank god I found you on time. You had me so worried. I just heard your voice and I was so scared, Kazu. What happened? Ne Kazu, what happened?"
"Ueda..."
"I'm here now. It'll all be okay soon."
Kame leaned his head against Ueda's shirt and smelled the trees of the forest on him along with a mysterious new smell, which turned out to be Ueda's faint cologne. He shuddered and realized he was cold and his body was no catching up with the pain. Tears spilled onto Ueda's shirt before he even knew they were in his eyes, but he let them fall. He would have to let them all go before he put his plan into action to get Pi to tell him the truth. He had to be strong now. Ueda rubbed Kame's back soothingly and kissed his head of hair many times trying to comfort the shaking boy under him.
"Shh...I'll get you home soon. It'll be okay."
"Ueda..please. Don't ... Don't tell anyone."
Ueda turned Kame to allow him to look into his eyes before promising his utmost secrecy in a whisper.
"I promise. No one will know."
Kame sniffed in response. After a few more minutes crouched on the ground, Ueda slowly lifted Kame onto his feet before wrapping his arm around his waist to keep him from falling. Kame could hardly stand so he rested his head on Ueda's shoulder and allowed himself to be half-dragged toward the car. Ueda was careful not to touch Kame too roughly in case he put him in more pain. Gently putting the seatbelt into place on Kame's seat, he settled into the drivers side and drove away from the park onto the highway. Kame stayed silent for a few minutes, looking out and wondering how to begin his story. Ueda stayed silent as well, looking ahead into the streets, waiting for Kame to talk.
"It wasn't the first time..."
Ueda hit the brakes fast and the car squelched to a quick stop pushing the two of them against the dashboard of the car.
"W-what?"
"The same thing happened to me before...in front of Jin's house."
"Jin...?"
"You remember four years ago, when I had left the club because some men were bothering us?"
"Mmhmm..."
"Well they followed me. I ran. All the way to Jin's house. I had forgotten he had left...They cornered me. It was six of them."
"All of them..."
"Yup. One after the other..."
"Why did it--"
"Take four years for me to remember? I don't know. But the same man came back today. Said to thank Pi for giving him a 'new piece'."
"Pi?!"
"I don't know the whole story. But he said Pi's name..."
"Kame...you have to tell him."
"NO. No one knows until I found out what really happened four years ago."
"Don't put yourself through this. You've been through enough already. Just leave him and be happy with Jin."
"I can't be with Jin anymore. Not until I figure this out...not until I'm...I'm clean..."
"Kame..."
"I have a plan already. It'll work out."
Ueda stared at Kame through the corner of his eyes as Kame turned his head to the window again. The conversation was over and Ueda knew he wouldn't be able to talk him out his plan. The best he could do now was help him get through it as quickly and easily as he could. Putting the car into drive, he drove Kame back home to clean up before starting the plan tonight.
They had ended up at a club. The same club Kame was in four years ago. But this time, instead of just Kame and Ueda, it was Jin, Kame, Pi, Ueda, and Ryo. Kame had a white low v-neck, full sleeve shirt on that fit well across his chest and navy blue jeans. His hair was tied back into a ponytail at his neck and he leaned against the bar scanning the dance floor. Pi was by his side appreciating the style on Kame tonight, but had a nagging feeling at the back of his head that something was wrong. Jin stood across the dance floor, leaning against a pole, keeping his eyes on Kame. Ueda and Ryo were somewhere avoiding each other, but still dancing. Kame flickered a look to Pi, took a gulp of his double vodka shot and walked to the dance floor, sashaying his hips lightly to the music as he moved. Getting into the middle of the dance floor he latched onto an unsuspecting, but willing, girl and started dancing. Pi watched in amazement as Jin looked on from his corner of the room. Kame swayed his hips against the girl sending shivers up her spine, before she turned around with her back facing him. They were close now, her arms raised and locked behind his neck, their bodies moving up and down in sync with each other. Kame's head was resting lightly on her shoulder and her head was titled back against his chest, their eyes both half-lidded as if in a drunken stupor. They kept time to the music, but they were lost in their own world. Jin walked over to the bar and ordered two double vodka shots before standing next to Pi and handing him one. They gulped it down and sighed as the alcohol burned down their throats. Jin recovered first.
"What is he doing?"
"I wish I knew..."
Ueda saw the entire scene play out before him from the other side of the dance floor and wondered if the plan would really play out. Ryo had somehow ended up next to him, and without realizing, Ueda was taken into his own stupor as the two danced too close to each other.
A new song had come on, a fast techno song that put a trance over the entire club. Pi and Jin made their way over to the dance floor, as well, finding girls of their own, but still keeping an eye on Kame. The music blared down on the crowd of people persuading them to "just dance" and to keep dancing. No one had any clue about the people next to them or where they were anymore. Kame knew this was his only chance. Letting the girl go slowly, but allowing another man to take her into his arms before she woke from her stupor. He spotted his target sitting alone at the bar watching the mush of people grind against each other, sweaty and hot. Their eyes met for a brief second and Kame licked his lips. The man put his drink down and slowly sauntered into the group. Kame smirked at him before placing his hands on the man's waist, his leg pushed between the man's legs, pulling the man onto him. The man smirked in return and placed his hands on Kame's backside before the two started moving to the music. Not breaking eye contact with each other, they swayed to the music. Kame turned around the girl with him had done before and slipped his arms around the man's neck before sliding down against him. The man's hands traveled down from Kame's waist to the inside of his legs, allowing Kame more flexibility as he danced against him.
Jin and Pi's eyes had never left Kame, but now they wished they could looks away. Wished they could stop the anger from seeping into their brains.
Kame's eyes shut as he felt the man lean his cheek against his neck before blowing lightly into his ear. Kame half-moaned and the man took it as a sign to continue. Taking Kame's neck into his mouth, he bit down gently, kissing it softly and biting and licking as much as he could. Kame's head was tilted away against the man's shoulder, giving him more access to his neck. They kept their movements in time with the beats of the song, but the heat of the moment drowned out any sound coming from around them. All they could feel was the thumping of the floor beneath them in time with the song's rhythm. No one noticed the four eyes watching in rage. No one noticed one man step forward and break the trance. But everyone noticed the man stalk toward the two heated dancers in the middle of the floor. Everyone noticed but the dancers, themselves.
An arm yanked Kame away from his partner and he was roughly pushed through the crowd and shoved against a pole in the far corner. Snapping out of his daze he looked up at the violent person, ready to cause a scene. His mind spun back into plan mode once he saw who it was.
"Pi..."
Kame glanced back to the dance floor and saw Jin's eyes on him, worried but angry at the same time. Looking around some more, he saw Ueda and Ryo in each others arms, oblivious to the scene.
"Don't you 'Pi' me. What the fuck were you doing out there?"
"Dancing..."
"That wasn't dancing, Kamenashi. You were ready to screw him."
"Maybe I was..."
"What the hell is wrong with you tonight?"
"I'm just in the mood right now. This club just brings out the worst in people, I guess."
"...Is this a way to end things...?"
"No, Pi. We're going for year number five remember?"
"I know you don't want to. If not me, then what about Jin? How do you think that scene would affect him?"
"It wouldn't matter. You're the one I was trying to reach."
They stared at each other for a minute, Kame's face innocent and Pi's face confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"Isn't this the way you wanted me Yamashita?"
"I didn't want you to be a whore, Kame."
"But that's what we're called when we play with different people."
"If this is about Jin..."
"It's not about Jin, Yamapi."
"Then why are you acting like such a slut?!"
Kame glared up at Pi. Pi cringed at the death sentence being sent through Kame's eyes to him. Kame pushed Pi away from him and walked back to the dance floor, back to the man who was watching the two fight things out in amusement. He wrapped himself back around the man and gave Pi a wink from where he was. Pi stood shocked at the words Kame had spoken before walking away and at his behavior right now. He didn't know what to do...
"Because you made me into one."

A/N: Ok so in the first chapter I said Kame was Pi's whore?...but well after four years...some feelings have to have emerged between them right? Lol...incase that confused anyone. I wasn't really paying attention last night. Sorry! Also sorry for the lack of comedy...this is another depressing chapter. Keep the tissue box with you if you happen to be overemotional...ANOTHER ALSO: the story seems to have diverged from the summar so i changed that 2...lmao . im such a confused writer. dont hate me :)
Pi woke up that morning to an empty bed. He patted the spot on the bed next to him in different spots looking for his lover but was dissapointed to only find the cool sheets under his touch. Opening his eyes slightly, he peeked into the sun-filled room looking for a sign of Kame. Finding nothing, he got out of bed and walked out to the living room and ended up walking around the enitre house before returning to his bedroom empty-handed. Still a little dazed by sleep he sat back down on the edge of the bed and ruffled his hair. He stretched and walked into the bathroom and noticed it had been used recently. Pi got dressed quickly and walked back out the kitchen to grab a bite before leaving for work. He found a plate of fruit, scrambled eggs, and toast on the dining table and above it, a small note written out in swift strokes of a pen.
Woke up early this morning. Need some time alone. Don't bother looking for me.
--K
Pi's hands clenched around the note as he gazed unseeingly into the wall of the kitchen. A frown etched onto his face and his hands found the plate of food which soon found itself smashed against the very same wall. Not bothering to clean up the mess, Pi grabbed his jacket and stormed out of his house.
Getting into his car, Pi took out his phone from his jacket and speed-dialed his best friend's number.
Riing riing.
"...moshi moshi?"
"Wake up Jin. I'm coming over."
Pi's tone was harsh.
"Are you okay?.."
"No Jin. Which is why I'm coming over. And you better have a god forsaken good explanation as to WHY the fuck i FOUND A NOTE IN THE KITCHEN THIS MORNING FROM KAME TELLING ME NOT TO LOOK FOR HIM!"
"Pi...calm down."
"Shutup. I'll be there in five minutes."
Jin closed his phone as Pi hung up on him and placed it down on the kitchen table. There was no denying why Pi would come straight here to ask for Kame's wherabouts, but in all honesty, Jin had no idea. When Kame left Jin's house early that morning, he hadn't bothered checking to see if he got home safe, being to worn out by their already rocky relationship.
Pi arrived in less time than Jin expected and barged into the house before Jin had even opened the door all way. Jin felt himself get pushed against the wall roughly and a punch was sent to his nose. Pi dropped him back down to the floor and went on a rampage, flipping over everything in Jin's house, looking for Kame.
"Where the fuck is he Jin?"
"..."
"ANSWER ME!"
"He's not here Pi..."
"BUT HE WAS HERE!"
"..."
"I know what's been going on between you two. I figured if he didn't have the sense to put an end to it, you would...being my best friend and all..."
"I've been trying Pi--"
"Don't give me that bullshit, AKANISHI."
"Pi...it's been four years...I'm tired."
Pi fell on the couch and curled himself into a ball, admitting defeat. Jin got up from his position on the floor, slowly, and made his way over to Pi, wiping his lip to remove the blood.
"Four years and you're making this decision now...?"
"The anniversary things seems to have awakened my sensible side."
Pi barked out a laugh.
"I guess there's a first time for everything."
Jin smirked.
**--**--**--**--**--**--**--**--**--**--
Kame had decided to leave Pi the minute he stepped out of Jin's house but couldn't find a good way to do it. He needed time to think things through, so he got off at their house, made Pi breakfast and scribbled a note, and made his way out again. He kept driving, not being able to process the street signs or any of the light slowly making its way into his world marking the beginning of a new day. He passed by a park, empty because of the early hour. He parked his car on the sidewalk and crossed over into the park, walking aimlessly deeper and deeper until he got the edge of what looked like a forest.
Kame stepped over the feeble barrier that kept the civilians away from the forest and walked into the darkness. Not knowing where he was going, or where he was in the first place, he kept walking and looking at the tall trees slowly surrounding him until his only exit was no longer visible. Glancing back over his shoulder, but unexpectedly unaffected by thee darkness, he kept moving forward.
After what seemed like hours of walking, Kame grew tired and found a tree trunk to sit on to catch his breathe. He removed his phone from his pocket and looked through his missed calls and text messages. Mostly from Jin and Pi. He ignored them all, not bothering to read the messages or listen to the voicemails. It seemed reality still hadn't caught up with him as he put his phone next to him and looked around him wondering which path to follow next.
Suddenly, a twig snapped behind him.
He immediately jerked around to find a reason behind the sound and sighed out in relief when he saw a deer making its way slowly toward him. He moved his hand out, reaching for the deer, never breaking eye contact. The deer moved closer but stopped abruptly, perked up its ears and looked away from Kame, before running off in the opposite direction. Kame looked in the direction of where the deer was looking a few seconds ago, but after finding nothing he frowned. Leaning back against the tree he found himself dozing off.
"Ne...ne...look what we found."
A foot nudged Kame's side as he groaned and woke up to a face in front of him.
"Well well, what are you doing out here in these parts all alone?"
"Lost..."
"You wouldn't be lost so far in the woods if you didn't know you were coming in in the first place."
"I lost the trail..."
Kame noticed four more faces join the man that was interrogating him. He looked away trying to find a good way to make his escape, but another figure in the distance caught his attention. The figure walked with a strange gait, seemingly floating, and as he drew closer, the beauty of his face gave him the expression of an angel. The five men surrounding Kame, drew back, making room for their leader, obviously pleased with the catch. Kame's gaze couldn't leave the man's face, it was hypnotizing with the way his eyes sparkled without any light reflecting off it, and the way his body looked strong and muscular but he still walked with light steps, barely crunching the fallen leaves.
The man crouched down to level out with Kame and put his hand on Kame's cheek.
"What's wrong, kitten? Lost your way?"
"Yeah...I wasn't thinking straight."
"Nasty breakup?"
"Sort of..."
Kame wondered at how the man could hit so close to the target of his reason for ending up here. He kept his gaze with the beautiful man, but something in the back of his mind was voicing out a very soft opposition.
"Why don't you let us take care of you?"
"I should probably find my way back..."
Kame made an effort to stand, and the men hung back, apparently amused by his response. He grabbed his phone and brushed off his pants before walking in any open direction. The six men followed him, their leader closer to him than the rest.
"How do you know where you're going?"
"I'm just retracing my steps."
The man's hands wound their way around Kame's waist and he breathed onto Kame's neck. Kame's step faltered as the sensation of that hot breathe made its way down his spine. He regained composure soon enough and sped up a little. The man wasn't backing down so easily, though, this time pushing Kame against a tree, trapping him between his arms. The five men hung back, but were watching the two with looks of hunger and lust. Kame's heart beat a little faster, his breathe coming out a little shorter. The man smirked and pushed his body onto Kame's, capturing his lips with his own. Kame struggled against the grip, trying to push the man off him.
The other five men had moved in closer.
Kame gasped out as the man let go and allowed Kame a chance to escape. Kame ran with all he had, but was pulled down after a few steps. Two men were holding his arms down, and another two had his legs, while one was lifting his shirt slowly. The leader was making his way toward Kame and he smirked as he saw Kame struggle harder.
"Come on, kitten, we just want to play."
Kame's body tensed. He had heard this words before.
"We'll be quick, love."
Those same words. This was the man from his dreams. The same six men.
"W-who are you...?"
"You don't remember us? We met once, four years ago."
"...No...I--"
"You were a new piece for us...your boyfriend promised us that much."
"Pi..?"
"That's the guy's name. I don't know the reason behind it, but he payed us quite well."
"...N-no...that's...not --"
"Not what? True? Oh so he's been keeping this from you. Tsk."
The man positioned himself over Kame's now naked body and leaned down to whisper in his ear.
"It's not like it's your first time with me...enjoy it."
June 24, 2004
The pain streaked through Kame as the man pushed in. It was an excruciating feeling that his weak body was not able to handle. He screamed out but the other men put their hands over his mouth, muffling his cries. His body rocked back and forth, the pain coming and going, stronger and stronger with each thrust. The man groaned out and removed himself, before another man placed himself over Kame. One after the other, they took turns, hurting him in ways that he never thought were possible. Finally spent, the sixth man done with his night's work, they surrounded him again. The leader leaned down and placed soft pecks along Kame's forehead. He was almost unconscious now, his body covered in blood and dirt from the rough ground below him. He noticed the man's eyes before passing out, even in the darkness of the night, he could see the light grey color.
"Thanks, love. It's been fun."
He woke for a few seconds, feelings arms wrap around his broken body and a whispered promise. He saw a round face he recognized, caught the wisps of black hair, and drifted back into unconsciousness.
"I'm here now...I'll keep you safe."
Kame's eyes snapped to the eyes of the man's above him. The same light grey. The pain was unbearable, but his mind was on other things. His gaze shifted over the five men looming over him waiting for their turn. He closed his eyes, letting tears slip out, waiting for it to be over. Eventually, he felt the pressure lift off him, but he waited quietly for the next.
"Not today, boys. I think we gave him enough to think about..."
Kame's eyes opened looking over the dissapointed faces of the five men before flickering back to the man in front of him.
"Tell you boyfriend, B said hi."
"...B..."
The men walked away and Kame looked down at his bloody mess, the scene replaying in his mind over and over again. Hadn't Pi saved him that night? Why did B say Pi payed them, then? And Pi did lie about what happened that night. Maybe for protection. Kame stared up to the tree covered sky, the confusion overwhelming as he felt his tears pool around under him. He reached for the phone that had dropped somewhere next to him and with shaky fingers dialed out a number.
"Please...help me."

A/N: Ahhhh i've been taking mad long to update, havent I? *tear*
Kame walked through the dark streets in the cold night air toward his and Pi's house. He was getting home late tonight because he couldn't bear to see Pi after his meeting with Jin early that afternoon. So he stayed in the studio for a few more hours after everyone left, using his famous excuse of wanting to practice a little more. Instead of practicing, though, he sat on the ledge of the studio's window looking down onto the streets and watching his friends' cars roll away into the distance. He would heave heavy sighs at random times as he thought about his relationship with Pi and Jin and how both were so completely messed up.
With Pi, it was as if love has stepped into his life at the right time. He couldn't remember what happened at all, but he could recall waking up in Pi's house with bruises and torn clothes. Pi had come to his rescue, apparently, one night four years ago at a club where some man had tried to rape him. Not remembering any of these events, Kame figured he was traumatized by what took place and left it at that. That same day, he thanked Pi a countless number of times and as a response, Pi asked him out. At first he was hesitant because he knew he had some feelings for Jin, but after realizing that Jin was leaving the country he made his decision and chose Pi. Throughout these four years, though, Pi has become a little more aggressive, a little more distant. At certain times, Kame would have flashbacks of memories that he knew did not belong to him, because he could never remember such events taking place. When he would tell Pi about them, he would be immediately dismissed as an overstressed artist. Something wasn't right with the way Pi would look at him after, but Kame kept his thoughts on keeping his love life together.
Once Jin came back from his trip abroad after eight months, Kame and Pi had already been together for long enough that all of Kame's feelings for Jin were forgotten. Jin tried his best to be happy for the couple, but on their one-year anniversary Kame knew he still had feelings for Jin. It just so happened, on that night, Kame and Pi had thrown a party for their anniversary, and Kame had snuck off with Jin and they were caught in a compromising position by Ueda. Ueda promised not to tell anyone as long as they kept their distance from each other and Kame remained faithful to Pi. Kame's guilt was larger than possible that night, but he couldn't stop meeting up with Jin every chance they got to keep their romance going. Kame kept this going for three years, but now as they got closer to Pi's and Kame's fourth year, everything was falling apart.
Unlocking the door to the house, Kame heard the distant voices coming toward him from the television. Kicking off his shoes and placing his keys in the dish by the door, he tiptoed into the living room, trying his best not to make a sound. Checking the clock that was placed above the TV, he read the time as 11PM, and glanced over to the couch where Pi lay asleep. Turning off the TV he went into the kitchen to pour himself a glass of water. He heard the couch rustle and walked back out the living room where Pi was sitting up on the couch in a dazed state, peering up at the clock.
"It's late."
"I know...I was at practice for a longer time..."
"You didn't call."
"None of us got a chance to call home. Things were pretty strained because we had to start over."
"How come?"
Kame turned around and walked back to the kitchen hiding the guilt coming over his face, pretending to replace his cup of water in the sink.
"Koki messed up one of the steps, so the choreographer made us start over."
"Bastard..."
Kame walked back into the living room with a smile on his face as he looked at Pi's annoyed features because of his 'choreographer'. Pi patted the seat next to him on the couch, signaling Kame to join him. Kame seated himself next to Pi and snuggled against his chest, getting comfortable with his warmth. Pi's head took comfort in Kame's neck and Kame leaned into Pi, arching his head slightly, and closing his eyes.
"You're sticky..."
"I didn't have a chance to shower before leaving. It's all the sweat from rehearsals."
"It's sexy on you."
The words came out muffled against Kame's neck as Pi bit down on his collarbone and moved his hands onto Kame's shoulders, massaging them gently.
"You're so tense."
"I'm...just...tired..."
Kame could sense the smirk coming from Pi against his neck. Pi's hands worked their way from Kame's shoulders down to the buttons of his shirt, unbuttoning it slowly.
"Let me take care of you."
"Hmmm..."
Kame felt Pi's cold hands roam over his now naked chest and let out a sigh of pleasure. Pi's hands were moving under the sleeves of his shirt now, removing each arm at a slow pace, so as not to jerk Kame out of his comfort. Kame's eyes were still closed, but would flutter open once or twice, watching Pi's hands drift over his body. His shirt was off completely and the cold air of the living room shocked him. He felt himself be moved away from the only warmth coming from Pi's body and he frowned in confusion. He opened one eye to see Pi standing over him on the couch before being lifted up back into his arms. Kame encircled his hands around Pi's neck and leaned his head against his chest, listening to his heart beat with his strides. They reached the bedroom and Pi placed Kame down on the bed before climbing on to his side. Kame rolled onto his side and cuddled up to Pi's body.
"Did you....dinner...?"
"Shh sleeping beauty, I ate. Get some sleep now."
"Hmmm..."
Running. Sweat was trickling down his back as he frantically tried to find the house number that signified his safety. His breath was coming out in pained gasps after running for so long. His footsteps echoed against the hard pavement in the silent night.
He found the house and ran up the steps, making as much noise as possible, to wake its occupants sooner.
Banging on the door.
Panting.
His shirt stuck to his back and his hair clung to his neck.
Laughter was heard from down the street, where he was just a few minutes ago. There must have been five or six of them. Their steps were slow, deliberately causing him to get a little more scared.
Whistling.
"Come out come out little kitten. We just want to play..."
He looked around for a hiding spot. It was too late. The figures had stopped in front of the house and were now proceeding to make their way toward him. He crouched down against the front door as they surrounded him.
"Aww no need to be scared, love. We'll be quick."
Kame woke abruptly. There was a cold sweat running down his neck onto his naked chest. He glanced around his bed, recognizing his surrounding, before checking to see if Pi was still asleep. Grabbing a shirt from the laundry basket by the door, he quietly made his way out to the living room where his phone was. Taking the phone he looked back into the bedroom to check that Pi was in the same spot. He walked to the window in the living room and stepped outside onto the balcony before making his call.
"...Hullo?"
"Can we meet...?"
"It's three in the morning, Kame."
"I'll be there in fifteen minutes."
Jin woke groggily to answer the persistent ringing of his doorbell at 3:15 in the morning. He opened the door and leaned against the frame, giving Kame enough room to enter, before shifting to close it behind him. Kame had already placed himself on Jin's couch, fidgeting while he waited.
"What happened?"
"I just wanted to see you..."
"..."
"*sigh*"
"I'll ask again. What happened."
"I...I couldn't sleep. I had a weird dream..."
Jin sat down next to Kame and put his arms around the small waist of his lover, pulling him toward him and settling his chin on Kame's head.
"Tell me about it."
"It was dark and I was running. Actually, the place I ended up was your house. But you weren't home...and I was banging on the door for you. Then some men ... surrounded me... And I woke up."
Kame choked back his sobs as he retold his dream to Jin, but the silent tears didn't stop from flowing out. Jin noticed how tense Kame had become against him and placed soft kisses from his head down to his jaw.
"It was just a nightmare...I'll always be here when you need help."
"What about when I need you?"
A sigh from Jin. His arms lifted out from Kame's waist and turned Kame to face him.
"I'll still be here..."
"But you don't want to be..."
"Of course I do. But it's hard when you have someone else there for you."
Kame placed his hands on Jin's cheeks and leaned in to place a kiss on his lips. They quickly got entangled in each other and neither wanted to seperate for air.
"I'll leave him..."
"After four years?"
"It won't be easy, but I can't be away from you anymore."
"I want that."
"You don't sound convincing..."
"Pi's my best friend."
Kame stood up from his place on Jin and walked to the door. A resigned sigh came from Jin on the couch.
"You know this is wrong."
"That's why I'm trying to make it right."
"This isn't the way..."
"The tell me what to do Jin. I'm trying here!"
"Go home Kame."
"I want this to be my home."
"Go home to your boyfriend. He'll be worried."
"You're so quick to let me go.."
"Believe me. It's not as easy as I make it look."
"Then show me how you really feel."
"Go home, Kazuya."
Kame stood shocked at the change in names, but slowly made his way to the door. He stopped to put his shoes on and whispered behind his shoulder before making his way out.
"I am home, Jin."

A/N: New story! I promise it won't be as depressing as the other two! BUT! itll have the same number of twists along the way...so be warned :-D Hope you enjoy this one too! (umm...im thinking of making the next few chapters in kame's pov and then switching to jin's pov. let me know if that might get a bit confusing...but as we can see from this chapter i suck at writing narratives.)

"JIN! JIN OPEN THE DOOR! PLEASE!"
Anyone looking out their windows at 2 in the morning that night would have noticed him. Anyone looking out would have seen the distressed figure running up the block, his clothes torn in some parts, looking for the house that would provide his safety. Anyone looking out would have seen the boy climb up the front steps and bang on the door as if his life depended on it, shouting for "Jin".
Unfortunately for the boy, the door never opened. Unfortunately for the boy, "Jin" was out of town that night celebrating his new drama role with the queen bee of male fantasies, Yui. Unfortunately for the boy, his time was running out.
Anyone looking out their window would have seen the boy continue pounding on the door but looking back over his shoulder every few seconds. Anyone looking out would have seen the terror struck on his face. Anyone looking out would have seen the six men turning the corner of the very same street.
Unfortunately for the boy, someone did notice.

"Kame, we have to go...now!"
"I know I know, but there's an awfully large red spot on my cheek!"
"The make-up artist will fix it for you over there Kame. We're getting later by the second!"
"Ok Pi! Gosh...you're abnormally pushy this morning."
The two, Kame and Pi, walked out of their house, pausing to lock the door behind them and then proceeding to the sidewalk where their car was parked. It wasn't usually like this. Kame was usually the one shoving Pi out the door in the morning so that they don't run into trouble at work. But there had been something about this morning, the entire week's mornings, that have been distracting Kame more than usual.
Yamashita Tomohisa and Kamenashi Kazuya have been together for almost four years now. At least that's what they tell people. Their four-year "anniversary" will be coming up in a few weeks, and Pi's ecstatic at the thought, while Kame is slightly unresponsive to Pi's excitement. Kame moved into Pi's house the day they got together, actually. A bit of a nasty shock to KAT-TUN and NEWS, especially to Jin and Ryo. But they kept up appearances for the past four years now and no one had a doubt that they'd be going for a fifth.
In actuality: Kame was really Pi's whore.
And for the past four years, Kame had been serving Pi with his body, hiding his true emotions, and Pi had been serving Kame with shelter and food...and hiding a potentially dangerous secret from the world for him.

"Ohayo! You see Pi, we made it on time!"
"Yeah yeah...we wouldn't have if you kept your face glued to the mirror any longer."
The playful fight between the pair was taken with ease and laughter by their bandmates. The air was calmer than usual in the room and it was only the beginning of the day.
"Haha...ever the vanity queen Kazu."
Kame smirked back in response at his bandmate, Tanaka Koki. The other three, Junnosuke Taguchi, Tatsuya Ueda, and Nakamaru Yuichi, laughed at Koki's sarcasm. There was one person missing, though. Kame scanned the room, quickly going over the faces of Pi's band, looking for the one he needed to see everyday in order to keep living his life. Pi noticed his scan of the room and grabbed his arm roughly, pulling him into the corner of the room.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing...Akanishi's late, though. The choreographer is going to be mad."
"Are you sure that's all?"
A tighter grip was placed on Kame's arm. A glare shot on to Kame's face as he tried to free himself.
"Yes. Pi. That's all. Now let go. You're hurting me."
"Hey you guys, sorry I'm late! Traffic and all..."
That voice. The one Kame was looking for. He whipped himself free from Pi's grip and walked over to help Jin with his bags. Koki interrupted this gesture.
"Kame you better not do that, Pi might get jealous. I mean your anniversary is a few weeks away."
The tension of the room immediately rose a few notches higher. Kame and Jin flashed a glance at each other, one looking apologetic, the other simply hurt. Kame removed himself from Jin's way and went back to stand with Pi. Talk of the anniversary party sprung up, but the two guests of honor stayed silent. Eventually the time came for the two to split up into their own bands and enter their seperate dance studios for practice. A quick peck to the cheek from Pi to Kame for show, and they went their own ways. Jin lagged behind watching the scene, but realizing any attempt to answer his heart would now go to waste...four years was a long time.
Practice was torturing but it dimmed Kame's feelings of unease. It wasn't a feeling he was used to but he knew he had felt it some time back. It was something that made him break out into a sweat, luckily they were dancing and he was already sweating. Something that made him regret his decisions over the past four years, but he knew now it was much too late to turn back time.
His distracted mind caused a mistake in the dance steps, so practice was called to an end for the next ten minutes. T-TUN made their way out for water and snacks while the choreographer went up to the main office to check the schedules and any new dances that she could put into their already difficult performance. Kame stood in his dance spot for a little while longer, not noticing the rest of the room's absence of people. He only came back to reality when he noticed he wasn't alone, and his only companion was now making his way to the door.
A sweaty hand reached out and grabbed Jin's equally sweaty hand to hold him back from the door. Confused, Jin looked down at the hands now entwined, surprised at his own unconscious response to the touch. He looked up to the face responsible for the change of his heartbeat and was more struck by beauty than shock as he gazed into Kame's eyes. Kame pulled him away from the door and walked toward the large window looking down onto the streets of Tokyo. Jin followed in silence, allowing himself to be led. Kame's hand let go of Jin's as they reached the window and instead took residence on the windowpane. His palm was flat out against the glass, his forehead touching the glass ever-so- slightly, looking down and ignoring the spinning streets below. Jin recognized the tense discomfort of Kame's body and slowly placed his hand on top of Kame's on the window. Immediately relaxing at the touch, Kame lifted his head from the glass and looked up at Jin's reflection on the window. Jin was staring right back at him.
In a quick, fluid motion, Kame had turned his body around and was now fully pressing himself into Jin's chest. Jin's arms, as a reflex, went down to Kame's waist pulling him closer. And so they stood, lost in each other's sweat, original scents, and the intoxicating rush of electricity flowing through them.
"You still smell like winter..."
A murmured whisper from Kame resonating against the broad chest of his holder.
"You missed it."
"I did."
Kame took in a deep breathe of Jin's air and let it all out with a sigh.
"Something's wrong."
"No...nothing..."
"You've been tense since last week, Kazu."
"It's probably just the four-year anniversary thing...it's been so long."
The spell was broken. Jin reluctantly removed himself from Kame's grip. Kame looked up at Jin's face and stepped closer, keeping his gaze locked on Jin.
"We can't keep doing this, Kazu."
"He's already suspicious..."
"And a good thing he is, too. It's been four years...he deserves more than what we're doing right now. It's wrong."
"I don't..."
Kame dropped his gaze onto the wooden floor.
"Don't what, Kazu?"
Jin cupped his hand under Kame's face and lifted it up, but Kame's eyes stayed locked on the floor.
"I...don't love him, Jin."
Jin's hand dropped from Kame's face. He turned around and took a few steps closer to the door.
"We've been over this."
"We've not gone over anything!"
"It's been four years! You think dropping him is going to help us in any way? It's too late! You had the choice four years ago but you blew it!"
"I didn't have a choice, Jin! That's what you don't understand!"
"What are you talking about? We had made plans to leave that very morning...but when I got home I got a call from Pi saying that you were now together. How the hell isn't that making a choice?"
Kame had moved back to looking out the window and through the reflection he saw Jin sigh and make his way to leave the room because of the endless moments of silence.
"Some things came up..."
"Yeah, like what? You're undying affection for Pi?"
The voices of T-TUN could be heard from down the hall. Their conversation had come to an end.
"It's not like that, Jin...there's more to this than you know."
"Then tell me. I'm tired of going through this everyday Kazu. Tired of trying to find a place where we're alone together. Tired of only having five minutes with you before putting back the distance we've been trying to get accustomed to..."
"I can't, Jin. Like you said...it's too late..."
